More HID pics for grey and maximized
low beams
high beams
xenon fog lamps and hid headlamps
please no off color comments. thats why they locked the last thread, thank you.
Nupe i do know that the hid beam wavelength is not suited for my headlamps, thats why I went w/6000 k so it would not be in peoples eyes as much. considering my other bulbs were 4300k silverstars. difference of 1700 k is not bad, since no one has flashed their highs at me at night. But I do appreciate the advice though.

Go with what you like thats more important!!!

havent considered that,....since ive not had complaints i would say no
eventhough I have not had a problem with the glare. its a hotspot area on the passenger side due to the light wavelength is different than the oem bulbs so you get a bright spot with little or no fade around it.

in this pic I am back about 15 feet, the standard for checking the settings of the lights. Also 2, consider where I am standing, I am on the driverside looking towards the passenger side standing 6' tall, so its going to look a little weird.

The kelvin temp or "wavelength" as you say has absolutly nothing to do with hotspots.. its the fact that your headlight housing isn't designed for that type of bulb.. You could put 12000k into HID projectors, or even stock 02-03 reflector housings (long as you still use d2r bulbs in that case) and the only thing that would change is the color, the beam pattern would be exactly the same.
