96 SE at 200k miles - Chek it

I hit 200k the other day and took some nice shots in the area near Ithaca, NY. Ive got 200,400 now. The car is still in awesome shape besides for some minor cosmetic stuff (you might notice the front damage in the pics). The interior is pretty mint after I had the armrest recovered with leather and got matching e-brake and shift boots (cloth holds up better than leather). And the performance of the car is damn good. I havent noticed ANY drop in performance. The engine is going strong and feels like it can last another 100k... still peeling out on the 1-2 shift I havent raced it on a track ever, but did recently smoke my friend in a 2000 BMW 328 5 speed with 60k. And when i say smoke i mean he was about 8 carlengths behind after a 10-100mph run and falling behind faster. He did have an extra person in the car and isnt a great driver but still, there was no launch involved. How do you think this 10 yr old, 200k maxima looks?

That doesn't look familiar....

Looks very good, love the setup.

Whoops, didn't realize I changed my sig. I have a DP0 5MT lowered with Red Clears and a tint too.

Looks good! I've been thinking of getting those wheels in a different color scheme for my Max, they look great on your car.

oh yeah, you'll see at least another 100k from it....my mom's 2000 max now has 224000 miles on it....insane, i know, but it still runs like brand new! Still on the original motor, tranny, suspension, and we've only replaced the MAF and coils once since we bought it at 60k....

I was thinking about getting them in gunmetal with the polished lip, but went for the chrome.

Thanks for all the compliments on the car... im very happy with it! Im sure all of your cars will last as long because im sure you take care of them. I got this one with 123,000 already on the clock but the original 2 owners took care of it pretty well obviously.

Right now I use regular Mobil 1 oil and change every 3000 miles... do you think I should use some of that Max Life oil for old engines? Im actually thinking of taking it to the track in Englishtown NJ to see what kind of times I can get out of it... that should be interesting. Im figuring out when I can go in the next few weeks...

So what does that mean?

I have beaten E36 328, E46 325, 330. Is there no way that happened?
