96 max - new cosmetic mods

I just got new black/chrome headlights and corner lights and painted my wheels graphite. I am going for a dark look. I think it looks sweet. Please leave comments. Thanks.

Looks good, ever think of fitting a (black) 97+ grill?

It probably would look a lot nicer that way. I was just excited to do what I have now, but I'll keep that in mind for the future. Thanks.

Those grills will fit my 96? I didn't know that. I will have to keep that in mind as well. Or, I could just take off the grill-tech grill i have on and then it would be black again. I may have to try that first. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion.

My suggestions: paint the grill-tech grill black, do the door handles/trim like what was already suggested, and buy true black bumper lights. The bumper lights you have now look almost blue-ish and don't really flow well with the clean black of the headlights.

It's look but I'm not into the extreme black out either. Def paint the grill and change over the trim/handles. I'd say go regular rims after (not black). It would look good with everything else.

Thanks for the opinions, which is what i wanted. I like my car looking dark, and i do what i want.

As for the black bumper lenses, i don't really want to spend money on them. I had been thinking about darkening my bumper lenses already, they do look a little light, almost blue.

i cant believe no one mentioned the trunk keyhole. paint that black and it'll clean up the rest of your rear end.

Yup, already in the plans, but i forgot to mention that. Thanks

As for the spoiler, I got it from paradox-systems.com. I don't think they sell it anymore.

Not much for the dark look myself, but I really respect you for what you've done to it. It does look pretty bad-a$$!!

I love the blacked out look man... Keep it up. Are you going to change out the corner light bulbs? The orange just sticks out at ya.

I have thought about that. I don't really see paying for the sylvania silverstar corner bulbs because of the high price. And i think i remember those leaving a bluish-greenish tint on them. So, i think i will stick with the ambers. Thanks for the comment.

It's coming along nicely! I just picked up a lip spoiler myself. I like the DTM tails.

radster96~
I've thought about it, but i don't really think it is necessary. But it is still in the back of my mind.

ethnic6~
I agree with you on that. But i can only do one thing at a time. But yes, it would/will look better when those chrome pieces are dark.

black_maxed95~
I didn't buy those like that. I did it myself. I used NiteShades and then masked off the area where i wanted it removed and used Goof Off to remove it leaving the clear areas. I wanted to be able to see some backing up at night. And this worked.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I appreciate it. Dave
