I know why you have the scoop but its ugly as hell. Can you get a smaller one, and paint it body color? Something about that one just looks horrible.

Rims are sick, you know that. The Brickyard is fugging sweet too!

Loose the ricer bulbs and get some 97-99 headlights.

Nice toe out BTW.

Hes running a 350z intake manifold. Its so tall that it wont clear the hood.

on the hood scoop thing, have you thought of molding it into your hood, or something to make the lines smoother. IMO making it look like it is part of the hood will make it look better, that is if you have any vertical clearance to do it.

looks good but the scoop is completely out of place. You should get a narrow scoop and mold it in so it looks like it belongs there

everybody doesnt like the hood scoop. oh well. i might think of something in the near future but for me the biggest thing was getting this to fit in the engine bay.

If I ignore the scoop, car looks damn good. Those wheels make any car look good!

I know you'll eventually get around to dealing with the hood, so I'm gonna not say anything about it....

Ever thought of lowering the engine via modified mounts?

I'm not sure how close you are to getting an OEM hood closed, but modifying the mounts also improves center of gravity and handling.

Sorry if I missed any threads before you did your scoop but let me know.

*edit*

Also the combination of lowering the engine and a small buldge in an OEM style hood should get it to fit for sure.

If you are all about the scoop then more power to you. 95/96 front bumper with 97+ grill FTW. Car looks good overall, the lip will look great.

i will figure out something about the hood scoop sooner or later. lowering the engine is not an option because then my ground clearence wouldn't even exist. i have a hard time driving around right now and that is not because of my car being lowered on coilovers. if i would drop the engine lower the loop in the y-pipe will be scrapping the ground because there isnt alot of clearence there. here is a pic that might help.

i made the switch to k-sports this weekend just to see how the ride would be and if the noise problem that i had with the d2s would go away. i still have the d2s in the back.
tinit is 20% all around and 35% on the windshield.
keep the comments comming. appreciate the feedback.

Bang the shyt out of the collars and tighten the bolts good. Also, this is kind of hard to explain but you have to pull the hub out with your hand then tighten the bolt. The lower mount of the strut has a slotted hole. They will help your camber and prevent any weird noises.

when i first installed the d2s the first week they rode soo good. then the noise started to appear. mostly like something was loose. i ordered some es spring isolators and put those on. some of the noises went away but some were still there. everything was tight so i said screw it and borrowed my bros k-sports and put those on. took it for a test drive and the noises were gone and the ride went back to smooth. i will be getting an allingment this weekend and will set have the toe and camber fixed. currently with the way the front sits in rubs on the inner fenders because there is no negative camber.

I had a very similar experience with my D2's. I never had to mess with the back but my fronts would be perfect for a week or so and then get nasty.

The ride and handling is SO amazing between adjustments but for my needs a quiet setup won out.

Your car is going to be dark as hell with the tint you are planning. Post pics.

how much clearance are you needing? couldn't you do a reverse scoop just a tad so its not too noticeable?

Our cars all llok crappy as hell with scoops.

That scoop is the hugest scoop in the world. If it was a little smaller I think it would look ok. I kno why you have it but it just doesn't flow with the car. Everything else looks good.

Uuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!

hahaha Vaska nobody likes your hood scoop, not even me! hahaha everything else looking realy awsome though, paint what you need and get put everything back on and you're almost set?
Ohhh yeah I didn't have any idea that you had a 350z ingine inside, and your exhaust pipes look huge! Good job on the whole car bro, except of the hood scoop of course. hehe defenately do something about it when you can. Ok enough with the scoop already!
BTW what times do you run with your car, and how many HPs?

He doesn't have a 350Z engine, he just has the upper and lower intake manifolds. Which almost makes it the engine but still not quite.
