just wondering...how come you got 235/40/18 for the front and 245/40/18 for the rear? Why wouldn't you just get 245/40/18 all around? Staggered rims?

That looks like a test pipe not a high flow catalytic converter

Nice shiney cat....wish I had one too! I am also curious about the choice in tire sizes as well. Any particular reason why?

ya I was wrong its a test pipe not a high flow cat.

no main reason for the tire sizes. the 245/40/18 will fit in the front but i wanted to go with a little smaller tire in the front.

tein s tech lowering springs and kyb gr-2 struts. New strut bearings, bump stops and dust boots.

today I added a red top optima battery and digital battery terminals

I also changed alot of the factory wiring to 0 gauge wire

Nothing like blowing $$ every 6000 miles on new tires! You get horrible tire wear when you don't rotate. I used to never rotate tires thinking it made no difference. I went about 15-20k on a set without rotating. When I started rotating, the same tire (new) went for another 10k miles.

Just about everyone I know rotates there tires. Either front to back, or diagonally. Your tires will wear out so much quicker if you don't rotate.

How do you figure? Less contact patch up front where your drive wheels are but more rolling resistance in the back would make for POORER acceleration. You drive a Maxima, not a RWD car.

Oh, any difference? I have one to the positive alternator, as part of the big three. Since I have lots of cable left, maybe I will add that too. Does it need a fuse?

I didnt do the alt to battery. because i would need 8 feet of wire at $3.18 a foot and I did know how i was going to connect the wire thru the relay box.

so i just did negative on the battery to the frame then to the motor

and on the positive battery terminal i went to the start and the wire that comes from the alt to the relay box to the battery i left that stock.

8 feet? I used maybe 3.5 feet for my battery>alternator wire....

And most people simply add an ANL fuse holder to that wire in case of a short, no changes made to the relay box.

STEP II - BATTERY POSITIVE TO ALTERNATOR POST

Alright, this one is a bit more tricky. You are going to need about 5ft of wire split into two equal 2.5ft. lengths. We are going to be attaching the wire to the battery positive to a fuse terminal, then fuse terminal to alternator post.

You can find the alternator just to the outside end of the engine block on the passenger side. Look for a rubber boot covering a bolt. That's your alternator post. We'll start there. Remove the bolt using a 12mm socket.

Attach one crimped end of the 1/0AWG wire to the bolt, then screw everything back together.

Take the lead attached to the alt. post and run this to the fuse. Take the other length of wire and run this from the opposite end of the fuse and lead it to the battery. We're almost done!

so let me see if i understand this you go from the alt to a fuse block to the battery?

what about the piece of wire that goes from the battery to the relay box and then to the alt?

You are not bypassing it, you keep it there. Current goes in the path of least resistance, so you just opened up a free-er path.

alright I think I understand what you are saying. Metal's write isn't 100% clear.

cool, see I thought it has to go from the alt into the relay box into a fuse block and then to the battery. I didnt know you can run the alt drirect to the battery and the battery direct to the relay box. With this new info i'm going to go ahead and do alt. to bat. with the fuse block

you are doing extra wiring. you are replacing the stock wiring for aftermarket bigger wiring.
