New drop (Boss Chens) and New LUG NUTS

Finally got my Boss Chen Coilovers in.. the ride is soo smooth! and handles soo great! I also got some new lugs, the old ones were cheap and strippped couple of my studs. so i went with the Project kics titanium lugs.

tell me what you think. Any comments are welcome

got my lugnuts through a friend that works at mach 3 in San Francisco. I got it for his cost. Which is a lot cheaper then you find it online.

looks good....I'm starting to like the gold brakes more and more..might have to change mine

one question: are you at all concerned about the lug threads rusting since they are open at the end? Wait, of course you're not. You're in Cali, the land of little rain and no road salt! People in the North should think twice before getting open-ended lugnuts though.

as to the looks of the drop - very nice

as to the looks of the lugnuts - er....I'm not a big fan of the rainbow look, but at least they're strong

Just another note: are you sure the lugnuts are titanium? From everything i've ever seen, the Project Kics R40 lug nuts (which are what you have, i believe) are made of SCM-435, which is a steel alloy with vandium, and they have the burnt chrome finish. They're not actually made with any titanium though, to my knowledge. Like alot of "JDM" products though, the name "titanium" may be descriptive of the 'look' rather than the material.

yeah.. it's more of the titanium finish... but you know what, they are pretty light.. lighter then the kyokugen ones and the muteki ones. They are strong. The good part of these locks is that they have almost 20 different set of keys. So it's a lot harder for someone to steal

true that....heh, nobody wants to steal my painted G35 wheels anyhow

lightness = advantage of the open-ended, which is why most track guys have them. How much did you pay for them, out of curiosity? I need new lugnuts for next autocross season...

I raised mine for track use so yours look low. Plus its hard clearing 18x9 inch fronts if you are slammed

Larrio, your car is hot! I really want to get my hands on a 5 speed AE in Grey Lustre...that is my ultimate Maxima right now. The VQ35's do not appeal to me for some strange reason
