My newest additions.... (with pics)

Over the holiday week I installed my Tein H Tech springs and tokico blue struts.

Handling is awesome, or at least to me it is because my stock struts were completely blown.

The ride is nice, a little bumpier than stock but nothing to complain about.

Also got some titanium addition rims and new tires (235/50/17)
The pics don't do justice, when the sun hits the rims they really stand out.

Sorry the pics are taken in the rain, haven't had spare time till today and it raining in CT

Tires

Your car looks good even in the rain. What kind of tires did you buy?

I got the Hankook Ventus V4 ES H105 in 235/50/17, couldnt pass up the deal costed 550 total for everything for a friend at a tire place.

I know its not the best brand but they treated me well before so I got them again.

So is it best to lower and then go for the rim/tire combo or should you swap the rim/tire combo first and then lower? I'm just trying to decide what my first mods. may be. Thanks.

Just wanted something alittle wider for better traction off the line, and I didnt want to go to with a 45 series cause i was worried it would make the ride worse.

I dropped it first , then got tires a few days later and got the alightment done. The print out said everything was perfect after it was done , no camber bolts needed as with some of the bigger drops for the max.

Ya but when you add in shipping, alightment , mounting , balancing and etc it comes out to a lot more than 550.......

looks nice man...Im running htechs in the front and h&rs in the rear with tokico blues...biggest mistake in struts I have made. I feel every single bump...even the smallest ones. I should have saved up for illuminas. The 2 different springs offer a very even stance, but the ride is pure crap. You will feel it too...Im getting illuminas soon. I got the TE rims too...gotta love em

The is350 just sucks off a roll, the gearing is more for 1/4 mile and 0-60 I think?

I wouldn't say an is350 sucks off a roll...its geared damn well for a 6 speed auto...just look at the trap times
