So we got bored, decided to lower my car...more

So last night my friend and i got really bored and didnt have anythign to do. So what do we do? Slam the f*ck out of my car(ksports). Boredom leads to stupidity. I wouldnt doubt that i'm the lowest maxima on the org right now, besides the people on bags.

Anyway, here are the pics next to my friened's stock suspension 96 SE.

I drove up and down my street and realized how retarded i was for lowering it so much, drove back, scraped the f*ck out of my lip and stock resonator when going up/down my driveway....not doing that again........at least during the next month.

and the rims are from an eclipse...they're better than the hubcaps that came with my car....o well they're gonna be replaced with 5zigens soon.

They didnt touch the ground.

Once again guys, i dont drive around like this, i just drove up and down my street one time. I just thought it looked funky and people would like to see the potential drop on Ksports. The car is now up to the highest that the ksports will safely allow, to have the control arm as horizontal as i can get it.

edit: irish, whats the offset on your 5zigens?

I'd say probably.....5-10 miles? I really wouldnt recommend anything even close to that unless its a show car, there's just too much stress on everything.

Oh and this isn't as low as they go, i still had 1.5+ inches to drop it up front, and A LOT more in the back, but the wheel well would have to be modified. I already had to drive up on a board to fit a jack under this thing.

Damn, bish, you stupid low. You should see how long it'll take for camber wear to pwn your tires. (and how many axles you'd have to go through in the process)

Show a picture of your car at current horizontal control-arm height.

sickmax-225/45/17 Fuzion HRI, rims are 17x6.5 +46

95bkackmax & Morpheus- Ride wasn't that much different, but i swung the car from side to side and the handling felt like azz compared to how it is now. I dont have any pics right now, but i'll snap one or two tomorrow. I really don't like my wheels though, and higher ride height makes them look even worse

I had a choice of 00vi vs new rims this past month, and i just bought 00vi....and then i have to finish the job with emanage ultimate....so rims arent gonna be here for a few more months at least....

tuned 00vi should be worth it though

p.s. i'm also working on designing control arm ball joint and steering rod extensions so i can ride low and not negatively affect handling, friend's dad has access to a CNC machine.

It's interesting to see the extreme low setting of a particular coilover system. Man, I can't believe those people who say they like it this low. Especially with the tucked in rims, it looks like the suspension is totally shot. It does not look good at all IMO. Thanks for the photos.

BTW I think he meant that your driveway is not level. It may be flat as in not bumpy, but it's not flat as in horizontal. The hill will affect the front/rear wheelgap slightly.
