My 97 SE Pics

I'm not much into the online showoff thread stuff, but I was working on some scratches and took some pics...

Picture of the side of the car

Looking down the car--relatively blemish free and you can also see the wheel spacing up front for the BBK

You can see the caliper clearance to the rim spokes. Took me two days of shimming and messing with the brackets.

Engine pic. MEVI is polished... dunno if you can see much of it.

Interior pic. Not too much special. CF dash and chrome rings on gauges.

166,000 miles. I am the original owner, they are all my miles. I actually ordered my Max and waited to get it. It has all the options and colors excatly as I liked them... at the time.

Enjoy. Feedback is welcome.

Yes, I suppose the shifter is high. It didn't bother me until I drove the RSX (you can see it in the background somewhere), now it feels hella high.

The rims... umm, they are cheap-o's from Wheelmax.com. The brand is Excel, but I have seen them sold as others as well. Rims and tires were cheaper than new tires for my stock 16's, so I upgraded.

Thank you all for the comments. I have been heavily influenced by the org in what I have done.

I also joined the org in 2003 and didnt post until a few years later. I spent all my time reading.

very nice max, but how has your opinion changed? You said "It has all the options and colors excatly as I liked them... at the time."

markd248--I think I would have gone for leather, but I got discouraged from friends who said it was too cold in the winter--and the price. Other than that, I just meant that you cant get a MEVI or stillen kit as a factory option... or 13" brakes... etc. That's what I meant.

Dark99GLE--They are 17's.

Agreed. Your Max looks extremely similar to mine, albeit with a different wheel combination!
