Your camera sucks, I can't even read the license plate in most of those pictures.

Some of the images are somewhat blurry and not as detailed as can be. I'm not sure if that is the fault of the photographer, camera or post-processing. For example, the wheels are a bit blurred in the 3rd Z pic (3/4 shot of the rear quarter panel). It might seem minor, but it was the first thing I noticed.

How did you do the colour seperation in this pic?
It is impossible to select what you want in B&W and colour on a camera..
unless it has been pshoped?
If it is the camera taking 2 pics and then fusing into 1, the foreground ( funny looking dude, traffic and the people ) should be blurry since they've moved in between shots...

Unless I'm wrong, I would like to know how this was done?

btw, nice photography skills, love the shots... but you should invest in a tripod

Here is my constructive critique:
The white balance is off in the 2nd picture in post #2 (of the 350Z). It is also too pixelated due to the post-processing (sky on right side) and maybe the ISO setting. I've heard that the Nikons work pretty well at high ISO. Just be careful with your post processing.

I really like the last picture of the 350z, but the car is centered within the frame. You should consider the rule of thirds when you take that picture. The wooden power line pole is a distraction.

When you take pictures of cars, make sure the front of the drive wheel is turned away from the camera (front 3/4 angle). This will take away from the distraction of the tire. The wheel will be better angled for the shot also. If it were a back 3/4 shot, turn the wheel the other way. Some of your shots depict this.

The first picture of the silver STI is backfocused. The headlight or front wheel should be focused, not the back wheel. The composition looks good though.

Lastly, photobucket takes away from the quality of the shots. The first picture in post #3 (350Z) shows oversharpening on the corner light.

Other than that, they look really good.

Sweet... but how do you "tell" the camera what to keep in colour and what to change to B&W?

like how does the camera know specifically what to cancel out?

I don't know of any cameras that can do that. Correct me if I am wrong, but even with a lens filter, I don't believe that is possible. Those types of pictures have been photoshopped. Here is an example:

That's what I thought, but according to Apparition, it was the camera...
I guess we'll wait till the thread starter posts his response to this..
if it exists a camera that can do colour seperation on selected items, I'll go get that camera immediately ( saves time from have to do that in pshop)

According to my knowledge no camera can do that. That done by photoshop. In some digi cameras you can select a color to stand out stronger than others. But you cant select something to be B&W and the rest one color.
