Freshh 98 Max.

My max may not be the typical "org" style, but thought it be nice to post some pics and see what you guys think. I love it.
Here’s what I go on it so far...

R34 full body kit, with custom molded rear bumper
Custom paint, It’s the stock rosewood with the prismatic sparkle.
20" Lexani Marqui rims
S-tech springs w/agx's
microvison in dash
Infinity perfect 12" sub w/v12 amp
L.E.D under glow.

This maxima is more show then go for me. Let me know what you guys think! enjoy!

You're right about it not being the standard style, but it looks good for what it is. I especially like the shaved door moldings.

Constructive criticism: lose the wheels, get some red/clear tails.

really like the paint and look... i would suggest red/clears to go with the paint as well. 20's go well with the car but i would prefer something less "flowery"

But otherwise, looks good!

I think some 5-7 spoke 19's and painting the mesh black would do alot for it.

I dont think they sell lexani at walmart. I was expecting a little more bashing, but thanks for some kind comments guys. My next mod will be the red/clears, but i just got the car back out of the shop last week, and cash flow is low at the moment.I was thinking about a wing...maybe the M3 lip wing? I dont think the stock wing would go well with the look of the car. and MAYBE go down a size to 19's thinking about it.

I think 20's fit the wheel well good, just like has been said, not those style rims (chrome still would be fine for that style modding, just a typical 5 spoke style maybe). An M3/ Monte Carlo style wing and black meshing grille will help bring everything together better. You are right, is different from what is on here, but props for doing it. Also like what was said, not my style, but still is nicely done. VIP mentioned 95 lights, I agree, you should've used 97-99 lights, they are more clear.

Lovin the paint job, an M3 lip spoiler would look great, +1 on red/clear, not feeling the chrome 20s. Definitely getting some 18-19s, not chrome, would finish the look completely. All and all, you can tell you put alot of time and effort into this.

I like how you shaved the door guards. Good drop too.

But for the rims,

I would get/do the following if that was my car:
Red/clear tails
retro'd black R34 headlights
paint the mesh black
Get black rims with a nice polished lip
Paint the door handles body color
Get the SE black outer trim
Done!!

Lose the Rims, get 5 spokes with the lip *keep em 20 inches tho* lose the kit, get the reg 98 bumper back on that thing and get the stillen kit... red/clear tails... for you you gotta get clear signals... and the new headlights liek everyoen else was sayin.. those headlights look too "old" for that look and foggy

I think those wheels don't go with that kit at all. I would get some nice sport looking rims with that kit. Also if you would clear those headlights a little bit, cause they look kinda foggy, the whole car would look really good.
Well the car looks good, except the wheels...

Looks good, but like others have mentioned, maybe work on the lighting. Red/clear and at least the 97-99 headlights/corner combo. Wheels...not my preference, but that's okay, it's not my car.

na i think that that max is hot ya the rims should go but the body kit is nice paint is sick the mesh grill should go black and darken up those head lites and maby get some skyline tails for the rims look at a six to five spoke racing rim witha a crome lip in 20's that would make me scared of that car

I'm really liking your Max I never was a fan of the kit but it looks clean with the shaved doors and that fresh paint job. Definitely different but it could look so much better with some R34 headlights and newer tails (in this case I think some black Altezzas might look great).

I think it needs black rims 18's or 19s, red/clear taillights, and a lip spoiler then it'll look much much better and cleaner then it does now. My only real problem is with the rims, besides that new rims would be all it NEEDS, but with that extra investment in a lip spoiler and taillights, itd look really good.

i'm debating on the tail lights now. When I first bought the max, i told myself I would NEVER get altezza for my car, only the red clears. But things took a different route, and ended up full bodykiting it. Now, I was thinking maybe some carbon fiber L.E.D's wouldnt look half as bad, since i got the kit, giving if more if an sportier, more skylineish feel. any one agree?

I personally don't like the Gen 2 tails. Red/clears is the way to go. But if you like them, go for it.

That paint job doesn't look to good. Look at the 3rd pic seems like there are quite a lot sanding marks and very heavy orange peel. Wheels have to go as well. I bet they weigh a ton each.

yea, thanks. I love chrome, and the reason i have there wheels is cuz i got them for a good deal. I just put some chrome door pillars on yesturday, and they looks sick. goes well with all the other chrome on the car. i'll post a pic of them tomorrow.
