haha, thanks man. I decided to go with a full painted Stillen kit instead of the CF theme so I sold it to a friend.

How about a front 3/4 shot, or something where the car is more pointed at the camera? I'd like to see how they look at a small angle.

No way maing. SSR comps are the most beautiful rims out there. Especially when you think lighter rims look better.

IIRC Ceasar, Tanabe picked them up and kept the SSR name. They are alive as ever and a few new versions of the comps (CompC) are out for 2007.

anyone got links to a site, SSR is so underated, VOLK (rays engineering) always getting the glory, that was a sweet deal on those for sure. what is nuts is that im looking for a pair of type c (competitions) for my max in size 15, lol ! any links ???

if you are concerned about weight you could pick out a set of rays dura nuts and knock off about 1.6 lbs off your lugs. would be like taking 10 lbs off the chassis, lol ! 155 dollars though, there is another brand thats 100 dollars cheaper and their lugs are .9 oz each compared to rays .8 oz each.

those lugs you have look just like mine, i believe they are about 2.6 lbs for 20 of them, 20 of the rays lugs (dura nuts) weigh 1 lb. pure insanity !

edit: these rock http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/1774/rayraypj8.jpg

stealing them off my wifes car for a drag race im going to in 14 days ! LOL !

Lugs are not pushed far out enough from the wheel runout to have the same "1lb = 6lbs" effect. I'd guess it's more like 2lbs, given the distribution of a wheel/tire combo compared to the distribution of lugs.

That said, less weight will never hurt... just don't go thinking it will be even remotely noticeable. You would notice more of a difference if you drove with an empty stomach as opposed to eating a big meal.
