So the engine bay shot was from the MKII? 7MGTE swap, I assume? The MKIII is very clean. Is it turbo as well, or no? I assumed since your MKII was turbo (right?) the MKIII must be as well or it would be no fun hopping into the MKIII

In the mkii(i sold it) that was actually the 5m that came with it I modified a stock 7mgte manifold mounted a ct26 ran custom oil and coolant lines. And made her go faster. The mkiii is turbo.

Interesting. Looked like 7M parts but I couldn't quite put my finger on what looked different. That explains it!

yeah that car was soo much fun I cant explain it. Seriously 1st through third with 25psi in the rear tires was worthless on dry pavement. I could take it sideways and smoke em up at any legal highway speed. And i olnly ran 12psi of boost.

help me sell more chassis braces lol and I will. One of my friends is willing to sell me a pretty impressive one for a good price. They are a blast to drive. the really impressive mkiii is Dans oh how I want to build mine to beat it. Heres a pic.

I have the swap alot further along now but its been a process! We hope to make close to 600rwhp with it. And all the swap work was done in house with no corners cut.

<----former cressida and 1 mk3 owner.

The timing belt is almost all covered up with the galley cover on it. So Im going to cut a section out of the front and replace it with lexan. That should keep it looking nice.

I have never driven a cressida but I do like them. One just broke into the 9 sec quarters lately. They were actually lighter than the supras which I personally think was a little odd....
