I've heard rumors of a drop-top coupe, it would look pretty good I think

The work looks clean enough, but a car with no roof is kinda stupid IMO....and to the person who keeps saying you can get a 300c in convertible...that's wrong. What you saw at your dealership was a custom. Chrysler doesn't build them like that.

It doesn't look tooo bad, but I wouldn't drive a car like that on the street. The car's chassis integrity has been altered. Cars the are designed as convertibles have added braces and support to stiffen up the chassis since it doesn't have a roof. I would hope the shop that did the conversion added some reinforcement to the car to make up for the missing roof and B and C pillars.

I say the car is SEXY SEXY SEXY!!!! I believe he should call Nissan, and have them Market it as a 4 Door 350Z Convert. How sick would that be....

I think we all should put the haterade away and show some love for creativity!!!

This car has my VOTE!!!!

Of course it looks cool. It looks like awesome work, suicide doors look great, and the max isn't half bad without a top (looks better than a Pontiac G6, IMO). All the same, not having a retractable top, or a B-pilar, or roll-bars, or anyone to watch the rear TVs.... I could think of a lot better things to do with that kind of money.

I spoke with the guy that did the custom work and he told me that he gutted the inside of the car and welded what looked like an inverted roll cage. The car practically has no body flex at all.

yeah it's just as bad as rims on a old maxima just to show that you can afford it...

No, For real this ride is tops. Go back to the mid 60's to the Lincoln continental convert's, suicide rear doors on convert sedans, makes for topless honey hauler.

Cool idea but 4-door convertibles just don't work. There's a reason Nissan didn't make a 4-door Maxima vert.

I saw it on South Beach once, you gota give it to the owner for chopping the top off. Porb the 1st & wont be the last to do that to a Max.

I can appreciate and respect the craftsmanship, but I still don't think it looks good.

ROFL, I couldnt agree more. People bash on someone for doing something original then u see a turd gen with some $2000-3000 wheels. Il agree that it seems like a big waste of money, but so is fixing up a car with crap resale value.

totally totally dumb... anyone with mega body chopping skills can do that to any car. you want to impress me?? put a working electric top on it, hell i'll even settle for a rag-top.. that would be impressive.
