New shots of the Max after a much needed wash!

I posted a few new shots of the Max on my site after a wash today. I got finally got some better shots of the Umnitza DDEs (now Predator Thinline) which are still glowing strong after nearly 4 full years! I know some have had problems with them but I couldn't be happier.

Anyway, I picked up a new SLR digicam this week and couldn't resist posting a few pics. http://www.innerbean.com/housecor/2007_12_18.html

Looks really good. I hear ya on the weather, rain, mist and fog all last week, colder than normal too...30s and 40s. I had to drive a dirty car for two weeks. Ugh.

would you like me to combine this one into there, or would you prefer it if I moved this to "members rides" section. Let me know. I'll leave it here 24hrs.

Since I have an unexpected day off (rain forecast for Saturday so my customer rescheduled for Sunday), even though my car is clean, I might do some wetsanding to remove a few areas of really bad orange peel, then buff my car out to as swirl free as I can get it.

Hey where are the before shots? . Every time I gas up I keep thinking I really should take the car through the car wash. Then I think, by the time I get home it would be dirty again so what's the point?

Taking your car to the carwash FTMFL

And the point is to get all the salt and contaniments off your car so it doesn't damage the paint

Thanks Irish - Feel free to drag this wherever you see fit.

And thanks again for the comments guys! You're right about it getting dirty again. Two days later and there's salt everywhere. In fact, I had a great looking salty streak running from my gas door the morning after the wash. So there's your detailing tip of the day - open your gas door during the wash!

Haven't seen you post in a while. My DDE's are also still running strong after 3+ years.

How do you like the D40? I will get an SLR eventually...probably a Canon. My point n shoot is a Nikon though.

Good to hear you're happy w/ the DDE's. I like to post my positive experience from time to time to help remind people they're very reliable (from my experience) if installed properly.

I'm really impressed w/ the D40 so far. The kit lens is very sharp and pics are pretty low noise, even at ISO1600. But I already have the itch to upgrade for more features like bracketed exposures.
