Cha-ching!!

Paydays and tax returns are great, especially when they come in the same week. After owning 3 4th gens in the last 6 years and selling them all (biggest mistake ever), my wife and I decided we wanted to get another one...each. Sorry fro the crappy cell phone pics. I'll get some better ones with the digi after they get cleaned up.
MINE: 97 I30t with VLSD, dark green, tan leather.

HERS: 98 GLE, sterling mist, black leather.

I think we got a decent deal on these two. I paid $3800 for the I30, and she paid $3000 for the Maxima. Also, my wife paid off her 95 Mazda MX6 today and the dealership she got it from offered to buy it back for $3000, so she basically got her Max for nothing. I still have some mods left over from the other cars so of course theyre all going back on plus a few extras. I'll post up better pics this weekend after they get detailed up.

I fully agree. I absolutely hate tan interiors, and green isnt on my top favorite list, but its a 5spd and in good condition. I'll be changing out the interior soon. I found s complete black interior in mint condition for $250...for the whole interior. I'd be stupid to pass that up.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I appreciate it all- good and bad. Hell if it wasnt for the negative feedback I'd still be rolling around with my blue painted dash trim and altezza's (6 years ago btw, my taste since then has MUCH improved).

Well I never got around to cleaning the I30 today. My wife detailed the hell out of her Maxima though. No, instead I got a few goodies and went junkyard hopping today. I managed to pick up some I30 limited door sills with the polished aluminum name-plates, the steering whell on the donor car was worn but wouldve been nice with the woodgrain. I also picked up a fog replacement, some extra trim pieces to keep on hand, a 99 Bose headunit for the Maxima (hers was missing a couple buttons...and she likes the stock look better), short throw shifter, and I got a 00vi as well that was dirt cheap. Total cost of everything at the junkyard- $150.
Oh and I also got a new headunit for the I30. Out with the Bose and in with a Kenwood Excelon DDX7015.
Y-pipes have been ordered for both cars. R34 style lights with signals have been ordered, 1 piece Cefiros have been ordered, and will be getting TSX projectors for both sets of headlights. Suspensions have to be lowered too. Damn, I got a lot of work ahead of me. At least I have a badass wife that isnt afraid to get dirty and mod with me. She said she might order a CF hood for hers and she really likes the Ionic kit. I'd like to get these rolling clean again soon but I know if I mod everything too fast then I'll just get bored with it. So I guess I'll take my time...maybe a month. Hehehe.
