Car Shoot 3.19.08

Finally finished the halos. Painted the headlights black as well. Installed Bat's overlays (Deus Style). Here is the finished result.

Need to touch up the Nissan Emblem.

It's wintertime and raining for maybe 98482 months now. Hopefully this summer I can get a full detail done. Results are stunning.

Joshua

Night pics are extremely hard to capture. My camera isn't advanced enough to filter the light properly and they look much less powerful than they are, as well as fuzzing the picture (I've tried). I can vouch that they look 198 times more amazing at night. They are very, very bright.

Very noticable, especially in twilight. I disabled the constant node on my running lights so they only function as turn signals. This allows the headlights to be on and the top halo to still show.

I shrunk them for you sir. I owe you, your "Deus Style" (as I've dubbed them) eyelids are the meanest things I've seen.

Thanks man,

What do you have to do to disable them?

It's easy. Take out the ballast and then the bulb. On the end of the bulb, it has two contacts. One is for the "constant" orange running light and the other is for the pulsing turn signal. All you do is cover one of the contacts with tape, put it back in and turn on your lights. Either you don't have the running lights on (you picked the right one) or you can't use your turn signals (you picked the wrong one) If you picked the right one put the ballast back in and lock it in place, Presto!

Now your top halos will always show and won't be drowned out by your running lights while the turn signal still flashes.

It's not very hard, but the first time around it will take time - plan a day aside for it. The halo's can be done at the same time...for the price it can't be beat.
