Ready for '08....lookin good.

Went from this:

To this:

Added the Stillen kit, blacked out the grille, the window trim and the rear nissan emblem. She's ready for spring/summer/fall! It's a crappy day, I'll get some more (better) pics when the weather warms up and the sun is shining.

And finally, the rear. I decided to do something a little different with the rear Stillen piece. I think it came out great, other's may disagree and hate. I love it and that's all that matters.

I like it. Clear your turn signals and then black out the headlights and it would look that much better. I like the rear valance, but would have gone with a graphite color rather than straight up black. I love what you did with the taillights, looks better than the usual boring black SE ones.

Thanks guys!

I was actually thinking about going back over the letters with some white paint, not sure though. I'd love to do the headlights, but I'm too scared to bake them, tear them apart, do the deed and them reassemble. I'm sure I'd screw something up.

As for the black on the rear piece, I was going for the Black/White theme, and the black that the shop used was just a satin (basically flat) black. I am sure in the sun, it would look better and stand out more.

and +1 for painting some color over the Nissan letters on the logos. I think would be a really nice touch.

Car looks very good, but when I 1st saw the bumper I thought you'd cut out the center piece... The tape line is crooked, other than that it looks good.

I think it is an optical illusion, I went and looked at my car as soon as I saw the pic. The bumper had to be reinforced due to some cracking, so it buldges a little in that area, so that could be the reason for the crooked looking line.

I did want to just cut the whole section out, but wasn't sure if it could be done and didn't want to spend an arm and a leg to make it happen.

Thanks everyone!

- Props for being innovative with the rear valence. It looks good but the line looks crooked on the right side. maybe its the camera?

- I would have liked the stillen kit look a few months ago (I have the full kit as well) but as of lately I think it just does not suit the car. I plan on leaving the front lip on only. With that said, imo, your car would look better with the front piece, 5.5 gen oem side skirts and nothing on the back.

- Looks like you are going for a white/black theme. I think you should clear your headlights and black out the housing.

- 6 speed or automatic?

- Overall...I likey

Again, too scared to do the headlights.....even though I REALLY want to.

Darker tint is illegal here in VA. Don't want to be hassled for it.

It's a 6 speed.

I like the shaved look on the back.

The tails are typical 03 SE....I just added Bat overlays. They really do change the look. In the sunlight, you can see through them unlike the 01 tails.

Thanks again everyone!

Looks great man, but I must agree with some of the others here, def would look 100x better with headlights blacked out and turn signals cleared. If you're not sure about doing it yourself I'm sure you could find someone to do them for you for a decent price.

If someone local (Puppetmaster, Cutler, Irish......hint hint) would like to help me black out the headlights.....I'm down. I can buy the food and drink.

I haven't even done mine.... so maybe if someone wants to do em all...

Any slim chance you were in Fairfax on Saturday afternoon on Jermantown Rd? I saw a white 5.5 with really dark rims that I thought was you, but now that I think about it, I don't remember seeing a kit on the car.

Oh yeah, the ride looks good btw. I like the idea for the rear valence, just that like already posted, it looks slightly off in the pictures. I'll have to see it in person sometime I guess.

Thanks again all!

The kit is brand new paint compared to the car which has 78000+ miles on it, so the kit is a little "whiter". But he did use the correct code (QX1) and gave me 6 shots of clear too.

Hopefully, after a good wash and some PC treatment, the car will look as good as new and "pop" more. We'll see if I can get it to look more white.

Great job w/ the rear. I love the blacked out look near the exhaust tips on factory cars like the 6.5 gen, 540i, and the TL. Its a great look.
