I painted the tail lights to look like a SE model, here is a side by side, opinions wanted

Well I like the black better than the red, but I don't really like the black ones on light colored cars.

did the outside, i almost broke it with the oven way, i got rack marks on the lens

I did this and a couple of months later the paint did a leather crackle effect and just bought the black tails for 30 from a junk yard

I just finished the other side, looks sweet hehe, its that paint for plastics from dupont i think, or krylon, something Fusion its called.

it looks good but somehow looks plain.I think its the car color(dark color wud be hotter) or need for atleast a lip on the back. Nice job newayz.

its a hard decision. i like the black or the red on your color car but i LOVE the cleared out ones. there is this guy on here that sold his max a little while ago and i loved his car with the clears. but overall the black looks good.

Good job man. It looks exactly like the stock SEs, can't even really tell it was painted. Black taillights FTW.

If you look close up you can tell, its not perfect, i scratched the lens, got oven rack marks on one lol and cracked the corner. ouch.

its semi fixed, my amp had a internal meltdown, fried some components and burned traces on the board. I have a surprise, if i can get it in before then, lets just say the subwoofer alone weighs almost 80 pounds.

nice work...looks pretty good but i think the 02-03 clear ones will look good with your color car? your paint is not transparent huh? i notice the black color on the se tails are transparent...looks sort of like carbon fiber.

Wish that was the case here, I visited 4 major junk yards, and all i found was one destroyed 5th gen and a 4th gen but it dident look like anything was wrong with it, the 5th gen got raped bad of everything.
