I love your car. With the stance and those eyelids, it looks very menacing. Those SE-r wheels match it perfectly.

 

Best 5th gen hands down. I dont think there's anything you can do in the looks department to improve it. Now get it tuned and break 400hp.

 

once again i think this is my favorite max on the .org, but why no more CF hood?

 

i dont wanna come off like an *** or anything but a while back i asked you for some suspension tips but you totally ignored me, anyways, beautiful car

 

Well I sold the CF hood with plans of getting a real VIS CF hood and CF trunk. I put the stock hood back on the car after selling the CF hood and it made me just fall in love with the clean look of the stock hood. I then got it repainted since it picked had some rock chips from the previous owner of the car and now when I look back at pictures of the car with the CF hood I like the clean oem look better.

well, I usually do things to the car not to make it faster or better or whatever only, I also like working on cars and installing things to take up my free time. With that said I will always be looking into things that are new and interesting.....right now I want to do a Co2 setup to help keep the boost cool but I am still researching it. There is always something that can be done but I'm getting married soon and the $$ won't be there to take on as much as I used to be able to.

alot of times I want to, just to be able to go a little faster and not worry about bumps and this and that but there's something about living in New York and being low.....its hard to explain but being low is like a street rep kinda thing

really.....wow I never realiazed this you mean the center pillars right? Hmmmm I will have to try it this weekend, I would have never guessed it. Any pics or threads on it?

I did it on mine, and here's a general how-to:

1. the "tape" runs down inside the weatherstripping, so you have to use a very sharp hobby knife to cut it along the edge of the weatherstripping. Do this VERY carefully. I rushed it a bit and left a few scratches. You might be able to pull the tape off without cutting it, but I wasn't able to.

2. the "tape" is stuck on pretty good. Best way is to use a heat gun (lower setting) or a hair dryer (what I used) to heat it up and make the adhesive behind it less sticky (as if you were debadging).

3. Then just peel it off and underneath is nice glossy paint the same color

4. Take your time...and be careful. It takes a while to do, it's not just like peeling off masking tape or something

yes, I am in queens NY.....that STI run was fun however alot of the STI lovers are in denial. I got alot of comments saying that the STI wasn't at WOT and blah blah but thats from people who fail to realiaze that a supercharger makes most power on top end.....

lol, I really wanted a 5.5 gen cause of the way they look opposed to the 5th gen but couldn't afford it at the time so I decided to make mine look like one.

Clean for the most part. I agree that some spacers are needed with a slight raise.

 

Wow, that's what I call slammed. I thought you were on air ride for a while with it being that low! What coilovers are you using? Very nice 5th gen.
