20's and coilovers on my DD

Latest pics...................

I sold my Maxima, and bought this as a DD. These are the latest pics after I had TEIN CS coilovers installed. Enjoy.

The TEIN CS's are the Comfort Sport coilovers, made for luxury cars. Designed more for maintaining a very smooth ride no matter how low you slam it (and there is another 1.5" downward adjustment on these coilovers, which would make my car almost undrivable with 20's). The ride is very comfortable, not harsh at all. It is virtually the same smooth ride as the factory spring/damper s/u, which is what I wanted (I'm not as young as I used to be ). The dampers are mono tube, 16 way adjustable. I've got them set on 7 in front, and 6 in back for a perfect middle range of comfort and performance.

Thanks! I've had 3 Maxima's over the years, so it is strange to not own one now. My first Max was an 94, then I bought a 98, and finally my 00 SE. Loved them all!!
And I have to tell you guys that I really enjoy coming back to the org once in a while to check out the awesome cars you guys have!!

I know what you mean! A lot of guys put 19's on their IS250's and 350's, and those size rims look way too OEM. On the bigger GS and LS cars 22's are the only way to go, otherwise the wheels look stupid small.

Yup, the back seat area is very cramped. If I slide both front seats forward quite a bit, back seat passengers don't complain too much .
The other bad thing is the IS does not have fold down rear seats. So I had to buy roof racks for my surfboards and snowboards (I actually bought the Lexus IS roof racks. as they fit perfectly....... I could only get them from one Lexus retailer in the US, how crazy is that!!??).
