New pics of 4th gen max (not good)

(09/13/08) IT STARTED!!!!!!!

ok for all that don't know, (which is alot) on june 7, 2006 I took my maxima to a shop to get some custom work done. (suicide doors on the rear, bmw (emola) red interior, lamborghini gray paint, custom sound system) Everything they had C/f for the max I had it, everything from shift **** to hood and trunk. The guy said it would take about 3 months to do. So I was cool with that b/c everyone else said it would take 6-8 months. Well to make a long story short, the shop that was suppose to do it, the owner became really bad off into drugs during the period of my car being in his shop. Well needless to say all he did was give me a big headache. He started working on the doors and well never finished, and he just dismantled my car. It looked like it's been in a chop shop. It was suppose to be ready 09/01/06 for NOPI '06. And it wasn't. Then it was suppose to be ready for 10/01/06 for SEMA (one of my sponsors asked me to be one of there booth cars, and that never happened) Well at the beginning of 07 I sued him. This guy was not at all worried. He never finished my car, went out of business, someone beat the crap out of him, and well he owes me a nice bit of money per the court system. Well now I'm in the process of fixing it at least back to were it was. These are some pics of what it looked like and what it looks like now:

I'm just going to get everything back to the way I had it. Not sure what color I'm going to paint it yet. But I'm think a black w/black pearl w/ black rims(but I'm not sure) And I have yet to think of a nice color for the interior. Then I'm going to s/c it hopefully within a few months after paint and body gets done.

I can only imagine the amount of stress this whole mess has caused you. Good luck with the rebuild.
Hopefully you have everything to put it back together?

As of right now, it looks like under 5k to do everything and if everything goes right I might have it s/c with that same figure. That just depends how certain things work out. But buying a new one I would have to buy one then paint it and do everything else. But before I get to deep in it trust me i'm looking at prices. I don't have after market headers or ypipe, but if I part from it, if you want the stockers I'll let you know

Yes many sleepless night, days, month. For once i'm not ashamed to say, I cried myself to sleep many nights, especially after losing sponsors and my SEMA spot.

Luckily I started putting it back together today, as of now the only big things I know I'm missing is a hood, headliner, and carpet. Right before I took everything to the shop I did the black interior swap. So I still have all my tan interior which was all leather. I'm missing a few window pieces here and there but nothing major. So as of now i think i'm in pretty good shape.

Wow that is horrible. Your car looked so good before too. I'm glad you're looking on the bright side and rebuilding it though. With that mindset, I'm sure you can make it even better than before.

If I had any of those parts laying around I would just ship them to you. About the only thing I have is a set of factory taillights. One has a small crack that has been repaired. Good luck... I'll keep checking back to see how your progress goes.

yeah as of now that's the only thing I can have is a good mind. The next thing on the agenda is to see if it starts up. I know for a fact is hasn't been started since at least jan of this year if not longer. I need to get a starter and a battery, (they took my starter off what kinda **** is that?) So if it starts up then I'm in really good shape. I know it might take a sec for it to start but as long as it does. After it starts I'm going to get EVERYTHING flushed. then its to paint and body.

the car is not actually that bad, I think I'm just going to buy another rear quarter panel. To avoid the whole cutting more stutt. But I got a few things up the whodini sleeve.
