I like the Xterra body style, but the inside is so plain for a new vehicle. We test drove one when we were looking at a replacement for our Chevy Suburban, but the inside is what turned us away from the Xterra.

I like 'em. They're comfortable and the VQ40 is more than enough power for anything other than heavy duty towing. The VQ40 also sounds GREAT with intake and exhaust

Nice pick-up man. That looks clean but the interior is kind of boring. We need off-road pix A.S.A.P!

the interior is "boring" but im ok with that...i like that the X is one of the last SUVs that puts an emphasis on UTILITY...if i wanted something more exciting, i would have spent more on the pathfinder.

funny that the VQ40 isnt as fast as my VQ35 6MT max...i guess thats to be expected with 2,000 more pounds and an auto...but the torque is crazy

people that lower trucks (that includes SUVs) should be shot

cars go down...trucks go up.

future mods - intake, Shrock Works Rock Sliders, and a slight lift

Rig looks nice. I have always liked those, but since my wife drives the SUV, we went a little more luxury and bought a QX4 a few years ago.

I am not too thrilled with mpg (about the same as you) but I love my VQ35. I tested out a 4 door VQ40 Frontier and an Xterra when they first redid them.

of course, the funny part is that roof lights are ILLEGAL to have on the vehicle while on public roads, unless they have covers on them (I haven't seen any pics of them with covers on them).

Those roof lights on the 09 look kind of pansy anyhow, like the ones on the Jeep Liberty

They should have put some big square ones up there to make it look like a truck, not those little girly-looking ones, IMO.

nice pics J
