Post the life of your Max

This thread is to show members, new and current, the early life of your current Max!

I'll start.

Factory, the day I brought it home:

Two days later:

Then the AE'd heads/BS HID kit:

Then I got my **** together, and instead of just throwing things on it, I got a plan, and executed it:

from this:

To this:

It's come a long way. Not to mention toys inside the car, and under the hood.

this is the week i bought it

did a blinker mod on the right side... never got around to doing the left side haha.
http://s164.photobucket.com/albums/u...t=MVI_1963.flv

spent a lot of time tweaking the rear of the car from the stock GXE gheyness.
behold the stock GXE gheyness:

step 1: black SE center panel
http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u...n/IMG_2236.jpg
step 2: blacked out SE tails. decided the blacked-out-ness sucked so i started to clear them
http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u...n/IMG_2236.jpg
http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u...s/IMG_0242.jpg
http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u...7/IMG_0551.jpg
but nothing really worked and plus the studs fell off the center piece so i had to duck-tape it back on... so when I got my SE parts car..... i swapped the whole tail section over. swapped the chrome GXE trim once more, slapped an 97-99 Maxima on the badge, along with a spoiler and voila

also when i got my parts car i swapped over a few things. the SE sawblade wheels and the SE cluster... with blue 194s.
http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u...s/IMG_1150.jpg

also did a 5spd swap when I got the parts car
http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u...p/IMG_1241.jpg
http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u...p/IMG_1261.jpg
http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u...p/IMG_1285.jpg
http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u...p/IMG_1301.jpg
http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u...p/IMG_1316.jpg
just last week I swapped the regular tranny for a VLSD tranny. That was the easy part... finding parts for it was the hard part... ended up just saying f-it and replacing the wheel bearings in the hubs i had.

couple months ago i also bought some 17" wheels. offset is VERY low for a maxima so the rears rub so i have to roll the fenders before i can drive the car normally again. but hey they widened the track by 2".

for anything else, just check my sig

My pics arent as great. This was my 96, auto. Just couldnt take it anymore, so i put it up for sale to find a 5 speed.

Found a black on black 5 speed, here they are together!

Got some rims......BEFORE I DROPPED IT!! Ewww....

Blacked out the bumper lights and tinted the fogs.

Somewhere in between the last pic and this one i dropped it finally and i tinted the red/clears.

The Intrax drop still wasnt low enough in the front and it sagged.

Cut a coil off the front to lower it some more....and bought a front lip.

And this is where she stands now...

How I bought the car, after I swapped over my GXE rims (The SE one's it came with were completely trashed) and gave it a bath

After a little cleaning up and detailing, removed pin stripe, got rid of that ugly purple tint, put on fog lights:

Removed the spoiler, fitted it up nicely with some BBS RX rims and some 225/50/16 Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Positions... Various other performance and interior upgrades by this point...

Tint and Eibach, also got my trunk lid holes welded/bondo'd and repainted

How it looks in it's current state:
