Bought a month, never got around to taking pics so here goes.

1999 SEL Sterling Mist $6500 FED spec
62,300 miles (1 owner)
Auto
Basic package.
Body is flawless.
Alpine Type R all around.
Alpine Head unit 9847
Alpine 10" Sub in trunk
Sony Xplode 600w amp

Current work done:
Removed stupid fender trim shown on front fenders in pics.
Custom Cleared out tails
Light re-wires, etc.
60k maintenance (sparks, clean TB/IACV/oil/fuel filter)

Car was from Illinois and came to Cali at about 20k miles which caused some minor rust. I dont think its a big problem. Prolly get under there and sand everything down so it doesnt spread.

Your 1st mod should be a y-pipe. Yours looks extremely rusted.

Thanks everyone.

Its pretty good. The Type R's are great, everything sound so clear. The amp i could do without, doesnt really give my sub its full potential, but im still learning how to tweak the settings.

Word.

Thanks, key was trial and error. Went through about 6 template cutouts for each side and lots of patience sanding. Thinking about painting the inside of the housing Charcoal/black

Im going to save up for cattman headers/Y combo if i plan on throwing my 00vi on it. Soon as i get it drilled.

70k just recently. And some bumper scratches im not too proud of. All my fault for being careless. Couple of door dings/chips from inconsiderate drivers.

Didnt post pics but its got an Tokico Illumina kit installed and a Stillen FSTB in the mail. OBX headers on the way when I get a job, school started and my funds went down.

Innovate LC-1 w/wideband is sitting here in my room waiting for the OBX headers. I dont feel like wasting money on installing a o2 bung on my stock rusted y pipe because 1) i think theres an exhaust leak and 2) i rather put the 20-30$ into the headers. The o2 bung alone costs about 15$ at autozone.

i have one question, what is a FED spec?...

Federal emission standards compared to California emission standards. Cali spec is stricter and requires more o2 sensors/cats.
