oiy oiy oiy, what happened
I guess I veered off the vip path of boat anchors, and stretch and poke. I went the other direction of fully forged, lightweight and old school. These were made back in '95. Only drawback that happened was clearance issues with the z32 calipers. the calipers had to be grinded down so I lost the raised "Nissan" letters and also a 2mm spacer was added. thats a big minus in points right there.
Used shoes I picked up on Tuesday:
-Rays Volk Fortessr Forged 17x9.0JJ +25et, weighing in at 16lbs
-Federal SS595 235/45R17
Total combo at 40lbs even. I was hoping for less but this will beat 52lbs anyday.

yeah, that and ill also be getting the wheels repainted/refinished. not sure what color, keep it in white? although gunmetal would look pretty spiffy. i'm going to try and source the original volk stickers if i can.

First let me say great choice changing to some nice looking lightweight wheels. I was never a fan of the boat anchors myself!
If it was my choice, I would consider a steel-grey or flat gunmetal finish (nothing metallic or overly shiny) to go with your blacked out car. IMO it would look very agressive to go with the new sporty attitude.
+1 on no stickers, old school is nice but I'm not a fan of the original stickers.

Perfect wheel fitment as usual
I wouldn't change a thing about the wheels except having them restored.
Whats going to be your next set of wheels? vs-xx, Lights 57s-pro w/ a titan lip, or a set of the new 57d's would be tight.
