Baby Jesus likes clean cars. (Non-Maxima, VQ35)

For the second installment of "holiday car wash for my mom's car" we have a minor update. The LE37T are being reconditioned for sale and have been replaced by NISMO A34 19's. I prefer the grown up look, however moms isn't thrilled. I've been enjoying playing with this car a bit.

Turkey Day:

Christmas Morning:

Before anyone says it, a drop is in the works. I'm still trying to decide between A34 JIC coilovers or a simple NISMO suspension kit.

Also in the works is a sound system upgrade featuring Tru, CDT, JL, and Stinger. Maybe an NWP VIAS block off as well.

Merry Christmas Orgers.

I like the old rims better, to be honest, especially without a drop. BUT...once I see what it looks like with a drop on the Nismo rims I may change my mind Good luck with the drop, I know how difficult it is to get a good looking drop on that generation Altima. There's such a difference in the height of the wheel wells from front to back.

i wouldn't be surprised if 98% of the .org agreed with you. personally i am not a fan of the "import look". the gunmetal was cool for a while because it was a perfect match to the color of the car but even then... i prefer a clean, classy look to a "hey, look at my mad tyte wheels yo" look.

I'll be part of the other 2 percent then. I think the old set was definitely in the "LOOK AT ME, I HAVE WHEELS" category.

Both sets of wheels look good. Once you lower it, it will look 10x better. Go with coilovers. Nothing beats the adjustability of coilovers. It's the only way you'll get the stance you want.

coilovers were the plan to the point i almost put some on yesterday but after doing some measuring i have decided to drop the front only 1.5". this is my mom's car, not mine. if it were mine it would be pounded to the ground. instead i will be dropping the front only to even out the ridiculous wheel gap while maintaining maximum ground clearance. my mom is a horrible driver.

here is a pic off cardomain of someone who did the same thing i plan on doing:

I'm part of the 2 percent also. They're definitely in that category.

To be honest, I've never been a fan of those Rays...IMHO the style isn't worth the price you pay for them. A little too simple looking.

However, I agree on the gunmetal. I suppose you could just paint the gunmetal rims silver and have the best of both worlds.

The ride height looks soo much better now in the front. Do you think the ride will be weird since the rear is still stock?

i concur... you guys know me by now and know if it was mine it would be beyond slammed. but 'tis not the case. i think once the fronts settle it will be a perfectly even gap front to back, which was the goal.

i have a set of jic's for the a34 that should fit the altima as well if you are interested.

everything could use a slam, however you're looking at a 48 yr old woman's car. i have my own car (and another one the way) for slammin'.
