Here she is when I bought her this past Sept! The wheel fit pics are from today! Will see if they still fit once the rubber comes in.

Nice pick up! I was considering this or the Acura RL, but I think I am going with the RL. Congrats on a FINE ride.

no, and take this for what it's worth; to me these look like cheap cast faux-multipiece wheels. fitment looks weak as well.

this, of course, is just from my point of view and what i'm into. if you're happy with them that's all that really matters.

i prefer my ucf30's vip:

either way, sick car and congrats.

MANY people have argued that, but the V6 is plenty sporty for what it's worth.

FWIW: Rims on a 430 are completely counter-productive against the performance of the ride quality...

I know they are not the most expensive wheels money can buy, and thats not what i was aiming for. I think figment is good. We will see though, because not a lot of these cars are running around on 22". A lot on 20's but not 22's. So if these don't work out, I plan on getting some Work 20"s. Also would like a front lip but not the whole bodykit thing.

The cars you show me are nice, and I have seen them and more, lots more. Here is a link for you,

V6 is still not a v8. Also for as sporty of a v6 it is, it takes up just as much gas as the V8. So let me ask why would you want a v6 again? I know they are reliable and all, but so is the toyota v8s.

Actually the ride quality is so good that when you add wheels it is still good. Its got air ride, so we will see...

talk about apples and oranges... and picking the lesser of the 2. don't get me wrong, i'm a huge fan of ka9 rl's as well as ucf20/30 ls's but that's a crazy comparison to me.

like i said, take it for what it's worth. just my honest opinion with 0 ill intentions.

I think figment is good.
these to quotes are very related.

We will see though, because not a lot of these cars are running around on 22". A lot on 20's but not 22's. So if these don't work out, I plan on getting some Work 20"s.
a good amount of 21s as well. mostly because most of the high end jdm brands don't go/just recently started making 22s.

Also would like a front lip but not the whole bodykit thing.
take a look at the auto couture sports lip. i am a huge fan of stock bodies or simple lip kits (let's you go lower ).

The cars you show me are nice, and I have seen them and more, lots more. Here is a link for you,
i am pretty familiar with a majority of the better cars in that thread that are u.s. built vs. japanese show/company cars.

hey BLACKonBLACK98 do you own one of these? Just curious? Sounds like you been around these cars for some time. Anyway, do you know where or what box that I should get to lower the car? Do you know what I am talking about? I think its called datasystem or something like that?

naw... i don't own one (i wish), i've just been in the vip scene for a quick minute and spend lots of time reading/studying/browsing information.

the data system ASC680 controller is what you are looking for. there may also be an app specific harness as well.

Each have their own pros and cons; for the features I was interested in, the RL won out.

FWIW: No rims on a 430 is extra

From everything I have researched up to this point in time, such is not the case.

See above.
I know they are reliable and all, but so is the toyota v8s.
No doubt. The 430 has a nearly flawless reliability history. It'll serve you well for a verrrry long time.

UL version, eh? NICE. I wish you the best, just FWIW, I would not increase the wheel diameter.

word... acura lost me when they went to the newer body lines. i think from 04ish on i haven't liked anything. performance is most likely still there but the cosmetics keep my interest non-existent.

I'm not going to lie - I DON'T like the exterior of the newer RL all too much, in fact I prefer the LS430; but I'm going to be spending my time inside the car, and the RL beat the 430, at least in my humble opinion.

Talk about oversimplifying. The RL lacks the low-end of a big V8 (let's face it, the hondas with low-end are pretty much nil) but the top-end of the 3.5 is there (300hp).

i wasnt talking about the new RL. The new RL is in comparison to the LS460.
