6th gen with custom exhaust... [edit: added more vids]

Hi all. I don't have pictures yet, but I did make a video clip of my custom exhaust. At first I had stock piping and replaced the mufflers with Magnaflow 14807 mufflers. I was pretty happy with it at first, but as time went on I felt it was a little too quiet and not as deep as I'd like. After seeing a clip on youtube of another 6th gen with a Dynomax muffler as a resonator and a straight through exhaust, I thought I'd try replacing my resonator as well, so I replaced it with a Dynomax 24235 bullet muffler. This is the result.

It has a really deep tone which I like, but I do have drone between 2500 and 3000 RPM. It isn't too bad, but I guess I'll see if I get tired of it in the long run. Let me know what you all think, good or bad.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Yes it does drone on the highway if I'm cruising in 5th gear at 65MPH. I stated I have drone between 2500 and 3000 RPM, but its actually 2000 to 2500. So as long as traffic is going 70MPH, I'm good, hahaha. As for the whine at the higher ends you are hearing, that's the sound of the engine itself so can't really do much about that.

Hahaha, I hardly drive in that RPM range so no need to make it louder to hide it, lol. But when I am in that range while driving, the Fujita CAI takes over. Guess the intake isn't as loud while revving as opposed to driving. Your car sounds pretty good as well. It's hard to capture drone on camera, I'm sure a lot of other people with exhaust clips have it, they just don't admit it, lol.

Maybe I'll do that on the way to work tomorrow, haha. I'll use the free headrest camera mount. It'll probably end up just sounding like yours, the intake is pretty loud during WOT. I also want to mount the camera somewhere under the rear bumper, I've seen some great clips on youtube like this, and it really gives you a good idea of how the exhaust sounds under different driving conditions. I just need to figure out how to mount it...

Thanks Solow. The more I watch the videos, the more I think it sounds nothing like a Maxima...
