Pictures with the new drop!

Hey everyone,

I FINALLY GOT A DROP!!!!

I just installed my BC Racing coilovers on my car today. I absolutely love it. The drop is pretty low, but no rubbing at all (just need to sand down the little rear bumper connector by the fender), and i have 20mm spacers in the rear. Still need the drop to settle, and will be getting the rear fenders rolled this weekend most likely, just in case.

I have the dampers set at 18 in the front and 15 in the back. Still testing out the ride and handling until i get it perfect.

So far, i LOVE IT. i wish i'd done this sooner, best mod EVER.

here's some pics. I'll be doing a legit photoshoot of it tomorrow or thursday night, so i'll update w/more pix later. Here are some outside my house:

Looks great... is it just me or is your Frankencar muffler sitting low? If so, might be time to get some hose clamps and tighten them around your hangers to bring it up a little.

i don't think the muffler is sitting low, I just put it on somewhat recently (got it from jeff). I'll check it out later today though, i have some new hoseclamps at home sitting around

and thanks

There's just something about 5.5 gens with a front lip and a good drop, even on stock wheels. It just looks like it was meant to be

Another satisfied coilover convert.

It looks hot. Thats a good ride height on those wheels. I'd go about a half inch lower in the front though.

haha i want to raise the back a quarter inch actually so it'd match the front...it's pretty damn low lol the front will settle though right?

and also...i'm hearing some squeeking from the drivers side rear one, and i'm rubbing something on the rear passenger side...any ideas? are the coiilovers going to be squeeking a bit in the beginning as they settle?

Raise the back? When one side of my car looks lower than the other, I lower the side that is too high to compensate. I dont know what the definition of "rasie" is.

I heard noises whem i first installed mine. I re tightened everything about a week or 2 after I installed my coilovers and I dont hear anything anymore except for my axles clicking. They might settle some.
