The G37 19s look better on your ride than on other 5.5gens Ive seen...I think the silver wheels look really good on the black ride...I've also always like the M45 Sport 19s but by far those Enkeis are def. the hottest of the group

Car looks good but you need to do something about those eyelids. Either get them painted or get rid of them...

I dunno man those eyelids look like they don't fit right, and VERY obviously don't color match. Maybe have them painted and see if they can make them fit better? Or just take them off and black out your headlights.

The RWD stagger looks completely retarded to me on a FWD car, but that's preference, I guess.

It’s all about personal preference. For example, the reason why some people tint their cars might be to keep sunlight out, or they just might think have tint looks cool.

Having the stagger look on a FWD is the same concept. It's not retarded.
Max looks sick by the way.

The car is starting to flow pretty well. Keep the theme and keep it clean. What size are the enkei's? 19x? +? And please tell me the wheels are staggered also and not just the tires.

I still want you to post up the pics of the headers. Reason being, you said that a piece of the subframe had to be cut. I just wanted to visually see where and how much had to be cut.

I used to think the same, till I saw a nicely done staggered setup on a FWD car for the first time. I was sold ever since. For people who love good wheel fitment, stagger is almost always a must. It all depends on what works for the chassis.

But like you said, it is in fact, all preference.

Right, the "RWD" stagger is purely looks on a FWD, but alot who realize it's actually FWD will usually get a good laugh out of it. A RWD car that has larger rear tires has that stagger for a very obvious reason.

I actually like the look of a FWD car with a FWD stagger because it's actually functional and a little different than your average ricer. I currently have 245s in the front and 225s in the rear not because of the stagger look at all, just because I get better traction and less total contact patch drag. I like functional mods and doing a RWD stagger on a FWD car is just the opposite of the original purpose of a staggered setup.

Have you seen a nicely done FWD stagger on a FWD car? My wheel fitment is pretty perfect front and back, my rear tires are 225/45/18 on 8" wheels, fronts are 245/45/18 on 8.5" wheels. The rears need spacers to fit right, but all in all it's not a bad look on the maxima, especially with the front fender flares looking more exaggerated on the front in stock form.

WTF I never even knew they were 255 in the rear...... So far I think they looked better on the 4th Gen, need more pics though.

I've seen nicely done FWD staggered setups on a FWD car before such as your setup. Spacers are requierd though. And I agree, it does look good and serves its purpose.

The term functional all depends on what the car is being built for though. A set of skinny wheels with snow tires mounted on them will be functional for a rally race in the winter time, but will not be functional for an auto x event.

-Just like you wouldn't enter the grave digger monster truck in a stereo sound off competition.

-Just like your car is probably a perfect daily driving weekend racer, but would be mocked if you asked how close you came to accomplishing a vip styled build.

People build different cars for different purposes. And different people prefer certain "genres" (can you use that word in this context ) of car modding. And each "genre" ( there it goes again. lol) has certain signature mods that characterizes that certain genre.

So I guess to some it up, it all just depends.

Cliffs: The term "functional" is subjective.

well spoken^.

I think the staggered look looks fine on the rear of maximas, and with the torque of the VQ,a 245 over a 225 is going to make that much of a difference.
Also,if anything, bigger tires in the rear will better help with weight distribution/transfer while racing

they dont fit cuz i did a half *** job and they aint painted yet...does that answer ur question...

o yeah and as far as the staggerd rims go...it only looks retarded if the rims in the rear have like a 7 inch lip that serve no purpose....the rims i have in the back have maybe a 3 inch lip that fits the car
