NEW DAYTIME PICTURES IN POST #39!
I just got done removing all the curb scratches, repolishing the lips, and orbital buffing the faces on my new (old) wheels (in my garage). It took 6 hours total. Very uneventful. The fender rolling took about 4 hours. I need to raise the car up about 3 threads. It's rubbing and knocking on the top part of the front inner wheel well on hard bumps. I am installing some 16mm spacers in the front after I have time to put the extended wheel studs on. The wheel studs are just sitting in my room right now.
I did a quick photo shoot last night; and a quick edit. These pictures did not turn out the way I wanted. I might take some daytime pictures tomorrow if I have some time. I forgot to take a side-profile shot!
I really like the new look of the car. I'm still trying to sell the Work VS-xx's. It's taking forever! Enjoy, guys!

The new rims look good. It totally changed the look of the car. Are those new exhaust tips too? The muffler's look a little weird with the tips though. I don't know if it's the lighting, but they look brownish silver. Have you considered painting them black?

My friend and I cut off the stock tips and welded on these:
The stock mufflers are mild steel, I believe. The tips are aluminum. The steel has a dull shine to it.

No you dont...
After this, you go lower.
The car looks great. I'm not even into wheels with any sort of black finish, but this flows nice. And good choice in wheels.

The car is almost done, I think. New tail lights, wing, and BBK. No need for VHT paint! Haha.

Yeah, can you link me the thread? I'm thinking about getting some 4 or 6-pot Brembos for the front and some 4-pots for the rear. I am not sure yet. Regarding the tail lights, I am thinking of some cheap LED ones.

You guys might enjoy these pictures. This was the progress of one of the wheels.

Sanding with sandpaper (probably at 2000grit stage; don't remember):
Hand application of polish on inner; machine on outer part of lip. I could not get the polishing pad to maintain a good contact with the inner part of the lip:
Lip polishing is almost complete. About to start on wheel face:
Result of machine-applied Menzerna Intensive Polish, Final Polish II, Poorboy's Blackhole Glaze, and hand-applied cheap Meg's Gold Class wax:
Close-up:
All the pictures are straight off the camera. I was thinking about taking the wheels apart to get them 100% flawless. But that would have taken way more time. I am happy with how they turned out; without having to take them apart.

Thank you, homey. I did not see you! I would have stopped by to chit-chat; after the wash was over, of course.

I will be taking daytime pictures this weekend. That will take care of most of the difficult lighting issues that accompanies shooting black cars in low-light conditions. Please stay tuned!
Here is a crappy side-profile shot of the car in garage. Pardon the reflection of the other car and myself, haha:
