95 SE - new wheels

Hey guys,

I finally got some new wheels...matte gunmetal Drag Dr31 (17x8 35 offset) wheels with 235/45r17 Falken 512 tires. I don't like to be too flashy so these do well of blending in. The offset is perfect. Flush up front and slightly inset in the back. So far the ride is comfortable and they handle well. (Yes, I am lowered...H&R)

The weather here has been weird the past few days (sun, snow, rain, wind) so the car go dirty since I washed it a few days ago.

Enjoy and comment!

Nice wheels. Seems to have alot of wheel gap for being lowered IMO!

H&R's don't drop much. The car looks good though even though its dirty. Would look better with some black bumper lights IMO.

Thanks for the compliment.

I had tinted bumper lights and tail lights and I got tired of them. So I bought the amber/clear bumper lights and took off the tint on the tails. I like the way it looks. The dark look was getting old.

I feel the orange just kind of sticks out when the rest of the car is blacked out. Still looks good!

Well, I just washed it a few days ago and like I said, the weather is weird around here, snow, rain, and sun all in one day.

But yes, I will be washing it soon (by hand, no car wash places for me).

perfect fitment and not tucked in too much is an Oxymoron... Perfect fitment means flush. It seems as if you dont understand. And you cant really mention fitment with the 4x4 h&R spring stance. (why are h&rs classified as a lowering spring anyway?)

I'm not saying your car is bad at all. It needs to go way lower than it is but I like the direction your taking it. But as far as perfect fitment... the car doesnt have it at all.

I'm not trying to be like the car in the picture, I like the way it looks, that's what matters. It's really a matter of opinion as to what "perfect" is.

End of conversation about flushness, fitment, etc.

Agreed. The wheels in that picture sticks out too far for my taste and it looks tacky. My opinion.

But your wheels look great, perfect color car for them!

they are classified as a lowering spring because the lower the car, H&Rs are biased towards ride comfort, i have them on my car and they have made a big difference in the cars wheel gap issues. As far as what u posted above that is not flush, the wheels are past the fenders, thats just overly aggressive offsets with ridiculously stretched tires.

Wheels are meant to be flush, NOT tires.

Tires are stretched only to allow this agressive fitment. Not just to say "I have stretch tires"

I've seen H&Rs in person, they dont make a big difference in wheel gap at all. They ride good though.

I gave the OP props on his car. All I did was correct him on his terminology.

Let's all agree to disagree, it's a personal preference on style.

Back on the topic of my new wheels....please.
