New pics with new wheels!

Well I was able to sell the Falken wheels on Craigslist in the first few hours after I posted them. I got these 08 SE wheels off eBay, they are in great shape with no rash or anything, and they are not reproductions as far as I can tell. I got new tires also, Falken Ziex 912s in a 225/45/18. I wanted the Yokohama S Drives, but needed something more all season than performance on this car since I drive it everyday. I know I still need a drop...

Dont know if you can tell, but I painted my calibers black too.

Looks like your LR is more inset than your RR tire or are your pictures playing shadow tricks? Time to get the beam recentered, maybe?

I like those wheels; it flows well.

Looks real nice with those 08 rims. How wide are those rims? 225 seems to be very little rubber. I thought most people were going with 235 or 245s.

Seems to be common on the 5th Gens, even after recentering the beam. My driver side is sitting further in by about quarter to half inch more than the passenger side. This is even after recentering the beam.

Well I wanted to go with 235's, but a 235/45/18 is a very limited selection, and I didn't want to go with 245's for the fear of rubbing, so 225's it was.

Looks great and I think you should throw on some wheel locks. For some reason, I have a feeling these wheels look better on the GLE models given the "luxury" look the wheels provide, rather than the sporty look.

Love the color. Those were the wheels I was liking, or the g35's or rep g37's. Looks real nice though, nice clean look, great job.

I got the same wheels for free with the stock 6th gen tire size: 245/45/18. I think I'm getting rid of them soon, though, cuz they're really really heavy. lol.

the wheels look sick! calipers too! if you wanted to go with a bigger tire in the future you could try a 235 40 18. i just put those on g35 wheels(8 inches wide) they ride even smoother even over bumps than my stock 225 50 17s

I've had those same wheels on my 95 for a few months now lowered on Ksports and I love them. There are pretty heavy though, but they are my winter wheels and the tires are good so I can deal with the big tires for a few months atleast.

Scary it's my twin! I have pics too and hope you don't think I'm trying to jack the thread lol just eerie to see someone with the same wheels + car

I had the same set of wheels on for a little while. The ride was much nicer than while I was on 19"s

Here's temporary drop with S-Tech, 5mm front, 15mm rear spacers, 245/45/18 (had rubbing w/ passengers)

Keep up the awesome work!

Looks great, just need some 15mm spacer in the rear. As tucked in as the wheels are now you shouldnt have to worry about rubbing with them on.
