Hey guys, I took the first pics of 2009. So far this spring I got some wheels 19x8.5 w/32offset, and 19x9.5 w/35offset. Also added the progectors. More pics to come soon. Enjoy these for now!

Your car looks great. It has come a long way. If i remember correctly, it used to be green. And i believe you got your car after me, which was like a year ago. Keep up the great work. Do your rear tires rub at all? Looks really flush.
Yea, its come along way in the past year. my rears do run when I have someone in the back. I still need to center my rear beam, hopefully that will fix it!
Anyway, the car looks great. I love the fitment of the wheels, but I think I liked the color of your old wheels better. And the color of the car is amazing. Reminds me of the BMW E36 color estoril blue.
I have one suggestion: Black out the chrome around the windows. It'll look great

In order to get rid of the rub, you're gonna need to remove the rear bumper mount where the bumper meets with the quarter panel. It's inside the wheel well and I found that this was the only thing my tire was rubbing on, even though it looked like it wouldn't clear the lip on the fender.

Only the passenger side rear rubs. It only rubs on the fender. I know this by seeing tire shine on my fender! The rubbing is reallly bothering me.
The blue is from as Mazda, Winnig Blue. I love that color.
Thanks for the suggestions. Next will be tint, and blacking out the chrome trim.
Thanks bro. I masked off tail light, but the red part, and sprayed it with Niteshades.
What kind of suspension do you have? I think my problem is the suspension travels too much over bumps...when I first saw the bracket I thought there was no way the tire would reach it, but all the paint was rubbed off and it was a little bent, so I know it used to rub there. I need coilovers

I might go 235/35/19 all around. the 245's are still rubbing when I have someone in the back. Makes me madddd. Glad I can help you see what you yours may look like!
Very nice and I love the color. I tried so very hard to get my fiance to buy her Mazda3 in that color but she wasn't going there.
If I had any suggestions, it would be to maybe, in the future, match the color of the lips on the wheels to the blue paint on the body.

I think you just might be able to pull it off.

I also thought of this before I got th wheels put on. It was really set it apart. The only reason I did not go through with it was the fact that I might sell the rims, or just get sick of the blue lip. I might do it next summer.
That little bracket for the rear bumper that was mentioned. I first replaced the screw with one with a flatter head. Then I grabbed my trusty jack handle and pryed it back some.
I tell people I drive a 2 seater now. lol
