Rice or nice?

I self tinted my headlights and fogs, 20%. That part came out fine, however I need some second opinions. I'm not sure if I think it looks nice or ricey like the title says. I'll post more pics if needed.

Light output is definitely hampered but those bay lights are bright to begin with so at night I can see okay.

Cops definitely might be trouble, though I've never have problems with my tail lights being tinted so I might be able to get way with these as well.

The headlights aren't that great to begin with, and the dark tint probably kills whatever output they do have.

Would have been a lot classier to just bake them open and black out the paint, leaving the reflectors chrome.

i agree. i see youre goin for the all black stealthy look, but it still would have been better to "AE" the lights

you shoulda just gotten those ABS headlight covers, you can snap 'em on and off, i had em for my 4th gen

What about 30-35% tint on there? Probably will look the same, and will give you a bit more output perhaps.

It doesn't look bad. It goes with the theme you're using...I'm not a big fan of that look in general, but it doesn't look bad.

Oh, and it does look rice, but that's what you wanted right?

It's gone from a nice blacked out look to looking like you took a few gallons of black paint and slathered it over everything.

Im not really feeling the tint on the headlights...on the fog lights it looks ok. IMO If you did a tint in the shape of an "eyelid" on the top part of the headlights it would look better than having the whole light blacked out

yeah, red headlights is a really smart idea. doesn't sound like it would cause a head-on collision at all. Other drivers definitely know the difference between red headlights coming towards them and red taillights going away from them.

But anyways just take it off and get the covers like the other guy said. I use my covers only when I dnt want ppl to really see what I have cuz lately a lot of maxs been getin stolen or parts taken off

i hate when ppl with black cars let the black get to their heads... when the black is getting to be too much thats when things go downhill for me, too much of one thing isnt good... i like to see cars with some kind of theme, the whole stealth look is terrible IMO, but if u like it then cool...

OVERKILL!!!
You just killed the overall look of your car. Blacking out some things is cool, sidemarkers tails and etc. but to compeltely black out the headlights looks like $hit. Its just too much.

IHAVEA2KMAXIMA,

Well if he wants people to know wtf he is saying he should, if not then why even type anything. Misspelled words is one thing, but doing it intentionally to have cool internet grammer is just retarded.

Please accept my sincere apologize for my childish behavior on the internet. I know I acted inappropriately over the internet and I just wish that you can find it in your heart to forgive me via a post in this thread. My grammar isn't perfect nor is my English, but I'm studying real hard in my ESL classes just so I can impress you with my proper English posting on teh Org.
