99 Max SE 5 speed

Here is my 1999 SE from Asheville, NC. Give me your feedback. I am farely new to the site so hey everyone.

Car is lowered on Tein S Techs with KYB GR-2's. Injen CAI. Few more engine mods. I'm also wondering if that is as low as the S techs go? I just dropped it and was wondering if it would fill in the wheel gap in the rear more. I am satisfied with the drop though. Its only been dropped for one day.

Very nice. Clean. Rims are nice.

Tein stickers and blue corner light bulbs need to go though.

And maybe trade that sunroof wind deflector for a rear window spoiler.

Overall...8 out of 10.

As JNCoRacer said, stickers and blue bulbs mainly. I would say let the drop settle just a bit, and that may look a bit better, just wait a bit before you throw any money at it.
Love the rims, and the tails.
Nice ride man, i'd drive it haha.
Welcome to the .org

It may settle a little more. Also, what size tires do you have? That may have something to do with the gap a little bigger. I don't know, just a thought.

Looks good. I think you should have gotten some better struts like AGX's for the S-Tech's.

Yeah I found that out like a day after I bought the GR-2's but its rides good now.

I am trying to replace the blue lights, but cannot seem to get the corner lights off. I search threads and they said that there is a socket after you undo the screw but I cant find that socket.

clean car, makes me miss my white one... after you take the screw out look through the gap between the corner and headlight and pop the socket with a flathead.

Ok, will do that tommorrow because I just got off work . Appreciate the help!

Oh and I am running on Gr-2's in the back only. AGX's are going up front in a month. Once I ordered the GR-2's rear shocks I found out that AGX's are better (expensive too lol) so it will be a little before i get the cash for the fronts.

I want your tails lol.....

Nice car man!! I don't mind the Tein sticker, but the blue corners do bother me a bit, there's nothing else blue on the car...

nice max, very clean too. i would just lose the front plate
i also have s-techs (but with 235/40/18 tires)
judging by the pics, you definitely have a little bit more to go on the drop

what kind of brakes are those?

I don't think I should take off the front plate because it's kinda hiding a ding, haha, but I would like to if I could.

I have 225/40/18 so almost the same size lol.

I'm not sure about the brakes since I bought it used like that. All I know is that they are amazing. They stop on a dime. Also, it has an aftermarket clutch bcause I can feel a major difference. I don't know the brand on it either. I think this car was once auto X'ed.

The springs have settled a lot better in my opinion. It looks lower in person. Everytime I take a photo, it looks stock to me lol. Maybe its my computer. Here is a photo:
