all i do is ignore the people that say "what, your 4dr FWD car pullin so many G's you need Sparco seats with harnesses?" and wait for the day i go with the 5spd swap and after a turbo, then we'll see whose pulling massive G's

ive got good turbo connections though, one of my cousins friend's idea of something to do is get a rusty running car from the junkyard and turbo it for something to do hes got a JDM R32 GTR though and that thing is sick, or was until he blew the engine with teh burnoutz. bish has to rebuild it himself now

Nobody's going to be honest and point out the elephant in the room. Fine.

-Crappy spray-can paint-jobs that look rushed
-Polish your tail lights if your going to smoke them
-Tacky emblems all over dash
-Enough with the fancy artistic angles

= Rice

Only thing you've done tastefully is that Bose HU and 00vi.

IMO not rice sure theres a few things that could be touched up and +1 on removing the dash emblems, but rice= mods on a crap car that make the car look faster/high performance. theres no giant wing, unpainted body kit, halfazz fart cannon job, or giant vinyls on it

its just that IMO FF is good for up to 500hp, and not many people want to exceed that for street cars so theres no need to hate on FF. and anyways its usually Supras, RX-7 and Skyline GTR that are hittin 800hp-1200hp

some idiots still hate 4dr cars even when theres crazy 4dr cars like WRX, Lancer Evo, and Skyline 4dr GTS-T. I give respect to JoeBoost to creating a beast FF 3rd gen, and Big E Dog for twin turboing his 2nd gen (but the Po Po found out becaues hes in Cali). Hes doing a RWD conversion on it now so that should be interesting

thats where my bigest confusion comes in most the badest street cars that people are driving these days are the 4 dr u refer to . gota give props to those that push our 4 dr cars to the limit. RWD maxima or i30 would b fun though

and its just 2 more doors its not like they add another 500lbs of weight or anything. Besides, its easier to get teh womenz in the back seat with rear doors

if i ever get the money, i would convert my 3rd gen to RWD and get a sh1tload of body work done to reduce the weight and make it a drift car, that would be like $30,000+ though lol. someone did a photoshop though of what a 2dr 3rd gen would look like and it looked SICK

just a little update. i took care of those nasty smoked corners and did them the right way. i did the cefiro clone mod. after i saw aackshun do it i figured why not? lol. i also added a auto-dimming mirror from a j30. im still looking for a trim piece for it.

i will also be starting a 3.5 swap shortly so i may be using this as a build thread later on as well.

Hey man, why you hatin', my buddy has "Maxima" emblems on his 4th gen dash too. Now he always remembers what kind of car he drives

But seriously. I dig the Pathfinder HU and the 00VI swap. Good job. Details on 3.5 swap. What are you using to tune? Are you keeping the stock 5MT? What are you using for exhaust?

Ill be tuneless for awhile till i can afford an e-manage with a nice wideband. so ill be running pig rich! lol but i will be keeping my stock 5-speed but with an even heftier clutch. (stage 1 exedy probably wont cut it) im just gonna swap my 3.0 exhaust manifolds onto the 3.5 so i can reuse my exhaust since its only a few months old. i also plan on getting rod bolts just to be safe but everything else will just be a plain jane 3.5... for now.

Nice looking car! Is your antenna broken?

I would say once winter is done get some nice rims with summer tires (so you can switch with these stockers during the snow time).

Looking forward to the 3.5 swap though, keep us updated on the progress.

yeah there is no antenna mast. lol. dont know where it went. ill end up shaving it off this summer if i get a paint job.

yeah rims are on my long list of things to do but theyre towards the end... Performance>Looks. lol.

I have pretty much everything to do my swap except the engine. im not working at the moment so it will be a couple months before i pick one up. i also want to replace my lower radiator support cause last time i had it on the lift it scared me. lol

Looks a lot better after you changed the corners up, but it would look even better with clear bumper lenses. Not a big fan of the tails to be honest but they're a whole lot better than the hideous altezzas some people like and if you like them that's all the matters anyway. Also the nissan and maxima emblems on the dash really need to go lol. Besides that I would say get a slight tint and if you want some cheap rims you could use '97 maxima se ones would look much better than those for not much money. Just some suggestions . Hope the 3.5 swap goes well, I would love to do that to my max one day.

Did some painting awhile ago with my friend. He got this 93 ve with somebody damage since he wrecked his 93 gxe. Well we swapped some parts which were mismatched. Well a whole day of body work, prep, and painting later all the paint matches! lol! we have now put on the slightly more attractive gxe wheels over the se wheels.

Before

After

Some new pics

Good luck finding another a piller for our 4th gens. I guess they dont make them anymore, but you could buy a universal one.
