agreed.

I was drive down Shelbyville rd (local road in lou, ky for the out of state people) leaving from just moving into my new house. while heading towards a friends house i noticed a silver charger heading the opposite direction, he moved into the turn lane, anticipating him pulling infront of me i started to slow down, when it appeared that he was going to continue straight i proceeded to accelerate and thats when he turned, i locked up the brakes but we were to close, i t-boned him on the passenger side of his car crushing both doors. we actually hit so hard he spun 180 degrees.

Better?

actually no i wont...he pulled in front of me, his fault...the cops put him down for trying to cut through a parking lot to avoid a traffic signal, which here is illegal plus i had the right of way.

Looks like your projector retro survived

Sorry about the loss, thankfully you're alright and not getting blamed for the accident.

You should have gotten out and then slapped those biatches, those guys just killed another endangered species of car.

But I am glad you didn't get hurt, but at least you are getting paid for that accident which could possibly go into another maxima?

The glass on the passenger side one was gone but from what I remember the projector was still intact.

I almost did...told the cop I wanted to and he sympathized with me. I told my fiancee that she saved the little punks life.

and i may part it out may not. it depends on the insurance company. car itself wasnt worth that much but the stereo was and im pretty sure the motor and tranny survived. Ill keep you posted.

hopefully they will give me enough money to buy another max. Im in a rental car now, its an 09 altima and its a piece. Not nockin on Altimas (i owned a 93 at one point) but just on this particular car.

sucks that some dumb *** caused you to lose your ride. On the age thing, I actually wish things were like they are in some countries in europe, costly and labor intensive. You have to go through drivers training courses(which I have heard can involve training in dealing with loss of control) and it costs so much more to get a license on the money side too.

I agree, the US has a very weak Driver's License test. Most people in Germany have to take the test several times just to pass because of the difficulty AND it's expensive too. People in the US take driving for granted, which is why there are a lot of fatal accidents because of ignorance. I don't particularly agree with raising the driving age as it won't solve the problem; people in this country don't take driving seriously at all and it's evident when you see people blabbing on the cellphone or text messaging while they're driving.

Geez man, i'm sorry to hear about the accident, I understand BS young drivers, (although i'm only 19 myself)...it's common sense not to do anything like that....

People in general, need to learn to handle their cars and not the other way around...

Wow....sorry to hear about your accident! Some people in this country forget that owning and driving a car is a privilege, not a right.

That being said, I got bumped at a pharmacy drive through the other day by a lady with 3 hollering pre-teen kids in the back. I got out and there was no damage to either car as it was maybe a 1 or 2 mph bump. I told her that there was no damage and not to worry about it. She shouldn't have opened her mouth. She shrugged at me and said " I wasn't going to get out of my car anyways if I had not dropped my cigarette", then gave me the finger!

I shook my head and called the local police. She couldn't get out as there was a car behind her, not that it stopped her from flipping out that I was callin the cops. Within about 5 minutes (the police station was just 2 blocks away) a officer arrived, talked to us both, then cuffed her! Turns out that she was driving on a suspended license with multiple DUI offences and a couple of warrants out. She put up a bit of a fight and within a couple of minutes 2 more squad cars arrived on scene. I felt bad for the kids, but in the end, I felt that they needed to see this. You can't act like an irresponsible jerk and get away with it. Oh....and don't fight with the cops, they will taze your @$$!
