Great looking car! I love the headlights on the s14's and that lip looks great.

Maybe you should have painted those windshield wiper arms as a first mod

You bastard! Nice pickup man. Looks like it's in excellent condition.

I was trying to buy one about a year ago, and every 240 I checked out turned out to be in poor condition even though the buyer swore it was "in excellent condition".....and they were asking for double KBB value. 240's fetch a pretty penny here in CALI.

Looking forward to what you do with it.

Tokyo Drift tax; 240's used to be had for reasonable prices in nice condition. After the whole "doriftu" mentality came to America, everyone started picking them up and trashing them. Now everyone that has it in garbage condition sell it at a premium because everyone wants a 240 as a project car. The sad thing is, a lot of people buy them at those ridiculous prices.

Car is really clean, black leather would be killer. Most 240s I see around here are want to be drifters that are extremely slammed with unpainted, cracked kits.
Cant wait to see your nice drag / street car build.

RB > SR

Iron block, stronger valvetrain, I6 sound

That's a sick looking Kouki though man, I'm loving it. +1 on drifter tax, it was in full effect when I was looking for a 240SX.

Thanks man, hopefully it will be a nice winter buildup, I was searching for 2 months and then found this one in VA. Hopefully KA-T with a t04e on about 8psi for now just looking to get to 260whp, SFAC tuned with SR injectors, should be ok for a nice reliable DD type of setup and then hopefully move on to a better more powerful setup in time to come

Yes, and Google isn't helping the situation. The owner was a woman who acquired the car from her non paying tennent that was in his late 40s and then put it up for sale. I agreed on a price with her and then her husband went and did some research when he found out I was coming from NY to VA for the car and tried to up the price on me due to "these cars are used for drifting and worth alot more" mentality. I didn't budge from my offer because I had a second one I was going to look at for a bit more but it had some minor upgrades like z32 brakes, exhaust, intake, etc.

They were asking $6000 for this one, I got it for $5500, never touched 1998 with 142k on the clock, 5-speed. I see them in alot worse condition go for around $6500, production numbers were low for 98 Kouki models

Thank you, I hate those can opener looking fender edges when its rolled incorrectly
Yes leather would have been nice, I had the opportunity to swap in full leather for $200 but with the age of these cars the leather doesn't hold up too well.

rb25 swap would be sweet, lol

I really like the look of the car except the exhaust.
I'd have to have a custom one built so it wasnt all crooked

I hear yah, IDK man out here having a 240, Rx7, supra, or any of those cars in that category without a slanted muffler is not socially accepted, lol
