My Little Sleeper (S Chassis LSx powered content)

Its what ive been working on for the past few months. Nothing special just a 95 240sx with an sr20det.

The only thing really worth mentioning is the fact is have a 2871r .64ar turbo, 600cc inj. and a tune.

I bought the car gutted out with no interior about a year ago.

It looked pretty much like this except no passenger seat and no gauge pod and a gauge cluster on the steering column.

here are some pictures i took after i had it for a few weeks.

engine bay after i cleaned up the wiring some

The excess wire from the harness was tucked between the firewall and the fender on the passenger side. It was a disaster waiting to happen so i cleaned that up next and added a little honda influence lol.

gay blue/teal interior, no center console, gauges just mocked up where i wanted them.

Got a black dash and etc for it.

Gauges with the angled rings and bracket w/ out the backing plate

Interior as it is now. still needs a radio, and carpet.

My best passes so far. Both within 1 week of each other. Left lane on both slips. 1/4 mi pass was on 15 psi, 1/8 was on 10. Keep in mind this is stock suspension and 195/60/15 tires

And a vid of the 1/8 pass.

Last night i did a run against a c5 z06 for fun, I obviously knew id get walked lol (heads & cam car). And the gasket between my manifold and turbo blew

So tonight i took it apart and i found this passed through my exhaust housing.

Going to have the compressor housing and a few other parts sand blasted along w/ the old manifold and whatnot and have them coated also hopefully tomorrow.

Might have these done too

I also have a NaVaN front bumper, side skirts, and rear valances on the way from japan that i got a sweet deal on. Once they get here (February) im going to have the car painted. Im pretty set on going with championship white.

Time for a s15 T28 upgrade , if you really want to wake up , get a gt2871

I made 400 and change wih that turbo when I had mine.

Same color as yours and all, and the 6pack airbag as well LOL

you have any issue cranking over ? I had issues when i relocated the battery to the trunk,
I got a slim battery and that resolve my issues.

Anyways good luck and looking good !

Thanks for the feedback.

The car has a simple ROM tune from R.S. Enthalpy. It arlready has a 2871r, its an HKS GT-RS turbo though. Supposedly everything but the wheel is the same as a 2871r .64 ar.
I dont really have any problems cranking the car, theres a huge battery from i think a caddilac that has the battery under the back seat. Something like 880 cca. Id like to get a braille battery to replace it when i go to the track though.

Im at my friend's development shop using his sand blaster and coating some of my parts. Ill have some more pictures tonight.

Motor is all clean and shiny for now. I didnt change anything. When i went to put the turbo and manifold back on i stripped the port on the block for the oil feed. I ****ing hate those stock hard lines. So i made some AN lines at work and got rid of the dumb water lines that the s13 motors have and tapped my water neck.

Somehow i gotta get the motor running, finish the wiring tuck, by friday night so i can put it on the dyno on saturday. Should be one fun week. The wire tuck might have to wait.

16lbs ea. w/ out tires.

Car is down now & its going to be for a while. I lost my job 4 wks ago but I just landed a job as a mechanic at the local Infiniti Dealer.

I have a huge list that I have to do and some things ill probably get done while im doing those. I just cant stand having a car down for more than 2 months. I'm not one to have a car that you cant drive for half a year or more.

I found a video of the last time i went to the track. Clutch is done and i was pushing coolant past the head gasket. You can actually hear the clutch finally grab and the tires chirp when it did. I'm almost surprised you couldn't hear me yelling obscenities at the car in the video. That was a 13.1 pass, i was so pissed i didn't even keep my time slips from the day.

Need: Cosworth HG, ARP head studs, ACT Xtreme press plate & 6 puck disk, AGX Struts, Re-tune
I want these while I'm going to do the previously stated anyways: BC springs/retainers, step 2 hks 264 cams, Q45 TB w/ custom flange to mount to stock IM, 1p.c. Drive shaft, Whiteline RSB, Fortune 500 Drag coils or KTS coils w/ custom spring rates.

So I should be able to get it done by September i hope. There are allot of events i want to attend in the car this fall. Maybe after im done with all that **** i can finally try to save up for paint and a kouki conversion or some Navan aero, real wheels, and suspension.

Most recent pictures.

Can't believe I still have that piece of **** car. I tried the whole drifting thing last year and loved it, so I changed directions with the car. Thinking about trying a track day too.

Thanks, I was actually about to trade it for another s14 but that fell through and I'm going to sell my s13 coupe instead. Ill try to update this if I can, I suck at making build threads. But for those that are curious currently its just a stock 02 Ls1 with LT's and an intake. I made my own mounts, and am using a Moroso swap pan and my own sleeved harness I made.
New plans for the car in the next month are Tein Inner tie rods, Modified knuckle for more steering angle, boxed LCA's, Boxed power brace, and a few other chassis goodies. As far as the motor goes it will stay stock for a little longer untill I feel like pulling it out to paint the engine bay. Then ill put a cam in it, renew the valvetrain, and the usual cam swap stuff.
