I has video!

Updated videos on the second page

Just a quick video of my partially tuned e-Manage Ultimate w/raised rev limiter.

Pedaling first gear (crap Bridgestones )

Enjoy! This was done in a virtual reality closed course in the middle of the BAJA desert

Very nice. Mods are I/H/E? IIRC, Fidanza as well?

It's raised to 7,300 rpm, but I shifted around 7,100 rpm (according to the tach -- EU datalogger says like 6,8xx )

But now my car pulls a lot harder, I'm thinking I should get another video. Once again on this closed virtual reality Mexican desert course.

yeah man, if your tach is as off as mine is, you can shift right before 7500 and thats really like 7200-7300ish rpm, so u have plenty of room to go.

get some backfire videos lol

Yeah I've had it up to 7,500 on the tach and it was like 200 rpm off on my datalogger

Haha, that's next up man

make another one with your adjusted settings so I can compare. And tell your girlfriend to use both hands to steady the camera.

I'm bumping this thread with updates. This will be the Moncef's Maxima update thread.

So.

My Bridgestone Potenzas were sitting at 3/32" of tread depth. Last Wednesday at 1am, I found a good deal (being mindful of having nearly no money from being in school ) on a set of G35 17s and brand new Kumho Ecsta AST (summer/all season tires).

Pics!

I think they look pretty good, def. appealing. Hopefully nobody says I should have gotten the 18s

The tires aren't the best for snow/ice but I'm a pretty competent driver in IA winters, so I just wanted a rubber that kept the coefficient of friction up.

Thanks

Yeah. I like them for the price I got them for. I'm selling my stock rims, if anyone is interested.

Real powah in a FWD car makes first gear completely useless (and sometimes second too if you're running street tires)

That VQ sounds great, get it to the track!
