Haha that is a lot of snow! Last winter the snow was up nearly up to my waist and I am 5'7 and so it was fun moon hopping across the yard to my car.

But we got snowed in pretty badly, the snow was over my rear bumper and the snow completely covered my wheels, at at one point my car was almost gone beneath the snow. I hope it was only a one time occurrence because weeks sitting at home eating top ramen can give a guy severe cabin fever.

Nice suby and nice pics. You guys sure did get quite a good bit of snow as we did too.

OT though, I see that you are working at a Sun and Ski shop...what does the DC area have to offer for skiing? I know that there's nothing in the immediate area, but how far do you have to go for a good mountain? I'm coming down to Fairfax in about a month for school and was wondering what my options were for skiing...if any.

We have a Sun and Ski here in Tulsa. I'm not aware of any placing to ski around here
EDIT;

Now that I think about it, they probably focus more on the "Sun" here.

About an hour away you have some little places like Whitetail and Liberty and Roundtop. 2-3 hours gets you to Seven Springs, Timberline, Massanutten, Canaan Valley. 3-4 hours (worth it) gets you to Snowshoe (WV) which gets about as much snow as anyplace on the east coast.

Our shop is Ski Chalet. We were family-owned for 30+ years until the owner died a couple years ago. Sun&Ski Sports out of Texas bought us, and now they're changing our well-known, well-respected name in this area to their corporate name "Sun and Ski Sports." Big-time stupid move, and all of our staff and customers think it is lame. The Texas guys know exactly squat about ski stuff, which is why they bought us - to get the experience.

note in the group pic how we blocked out the "soon to be sun&ski sports" part as well as we could, lol...

But I only work there on weekends and the "play money" is good...my income frrom there this year is buying me bilsteins, springs, and a set of track rims for the WRX as well as some parts for the GT6 and other stuff

Rear wheels are sitting on a speed bump. It's not that jacked up in the back, lol...Stance (and everything else about it) is bone-stock - it's the wifey's.
