01 AE ... now with coilovers

special thanks to HotshotVQ35 for the coilver overs. JIC FLA-1s.

The up-side ... the max is looking fressshh
The down-side ... the front to struts are blown and the max bounces around town lol. after i get paid this friday ill be ordering two new front struts to remedy the situation.

now onto the pics, they arent the greatest but i just had to post something up to show off

comments, good or bad are welcomed.

Yeah it's a little noisy, just grease up the upper mounts and check the spring isolators to see if they're torn, that often quiets down the noise if you change it up. Blown dampers will make noise too.

i don't get it, you installed blown coilovers and riding around town like that. I can only imagine how hard that ride must be especially on bumps.

thanks moncef ill give things a good greasing at work tomorrow. and nsnrider to answer your post, i installed them because they were sitting in my garage and i got tired of lookin at my 4x4 status, besides i did all the work myself so all i lost was a little time on my sunday. the situation will be remedied soon enough. until then im avoiding all bumpy roads around here. the ride isnt even all that rough, just bouncy.

Looks great!...very clean, not over done. I agree with Grand_hustle17, the AE lip looks better. Did you lose yours in an accident or something? Oh yeah, nice tails too!

to all those complaining about the muffler, i hate it too lol. im in the process of saving for the cattman 2.5 but new dampers for the JICs are takin away that 600. as for the lip, sadly i lost it in an accident and no one had one when the body shop was repairing the lip, soo a free stillen lip was second best. i really miss my AE lip tho.
