1999 Maxima se 5 speed

Finally found my camera and just took these of my Max.
Only has BOMZ cai and 17" kyowa 626 rims with hankook tires.

I replaced the fenders b/c of rust and rattle canned the new ones.((doesn't look too bad)
Also have 8k HIDs, led side markers, led corner lights, and 2500k fogs.

Soon to come in a month or so, k-spot coilovers, can't wait!!!

I used night shade on the tails. It used to be way darker then it is now. You can see a little dark strip of the tint on the bottom of the tail light if you look up close. I think the sun cooked it or something, has this happened to anyone?

Thanks for the comments

It's mud I have a dirt driveway, so I get dirt/ mud all over the fenders if I hit a pot hole filled with nasty water lol.

Also which really sucks two days ago I got my first ticket. He wrote me down for 74 in a 55. So thats going to set me back a little for coilovers.

Any advice on what to get before coilovers?
I'm just looking at some new tie rod ends and ball joints off ebay, but I don't really know about these. It seems way too cheap doesn't it?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

Any others things I should probably replace for this aggressive drop?

Looks way better with the ksports, even though its a little bit too low for my liking. Now its time for some wheel spacers!

Just under 6.5" in front, but of course that is not the lowest point of the car.
Can't get spacers just yet. I want to get lower profile tires first and spend money on performance mods.

Were you by any chance in Stillwater last Saturday? I think I saw your car near the freight house parking lot. Its pretty rare to see modded maxes in MN. Noted no exhaust tip, you pull your muffler? How was the coilover install? Cheers,

Yeah dude, I work at the freight house. I cut the muffler, so it would be a little louder.
I have a cattman y-pipe right now. I am waiting for warpspeed for the high flow cat and b-pipe. Going to order magnaflow muffler with that off ebay too.

Only problem of the install on the coilovers was the bottom bolt on the back struts. They made it so retarded with the nut you can't really get at.

I want all the exhaust pieces first before I install any of it. My exhaust now is extremely rusted together, so I'm hoping to drop the whole thing off.

Thanks for the comments

Looks real good man, I like the drop...a little low for my taste but it ain't mine so it don't matter!

You won't be able to drop the whole exhaust at one shot, it goes over the axle in back so you will still have to take it apart their, you will have to get it off the ground higher than ramps can get also as it won't get you enough ground clearance to get it out of there.

I recommend a sawzall, it's your best friend, cuts through the pipe in seconds and then you can move it out of your way.

Thank guys hopefully we will meet one of these days.

Back2basics: I think I will be able to take it off all at once. I cut the muffler, so there is not much hanging after the axle. I just have to "pop" (yeah right) off the 6 bolts up front then take it off the hangers. But if it does come to cutting it, I do have the tools to do so.

Update
-Bypassed A/C. It took away the annoying whining sound my car was making. It sounds sooo much better.
-Ordered high-flow cat and b-pipe from Warpspeed. Also my tensioner rod broke on me cause it was rusted together. Went to Nissan dealer and had to spend $26 I shouldn't had to spend on.

To do
-Order mangnaflow muffler and tip off ebay.

I think if you are going to black out the corner lights you should do the headlights too (both or neither). Other than that, some tire shine will finish you up proper. The fenders don't look too bad either (at least not in the pics). Keep up the good work and keep her looking good!

Did you look at the after pics? I took off that tint.

The fenders don't look to bad, but they do have some flaws. Its better then having 3 inch holes though lol.

Here is some more pics. She is not as pretty as she looks in the photos. It is misleading.
But just got waxed and shined the tires. You can also see the difference in the fender in these pics.
I am basically the second owner, first owner seemed not to care about the body.

Here is one of the many projects

Looks 1000 times better now that you are dropped . I like the blacked out look.

You might want to get that rust spot taken care of though case you don't want it getting any worse and have a bigger problem.
