Well, it's a black 5th gen, so it is obviously going to look good (biased opinion)....BUT....let's go over a few key rules:
1. Don't take night pics unless you have a camera that can take good night pics. Otherwise, night pics just look like crap and don't show any detail.
2. Don't take night pics unless you have a camera that can take good night pics. Otherwise, night pics just look like crap and don't show any detail.
3. Don't take night pics unless you have a camera that can take good night pics. Otherwise, night pics just look like crap and don't show any detail.
4. Don't take night pics looking directly at a streetlight.
5. If you're going to take night pics, use a tripod. At night the shutter speed slows down and even the slightest movement is goint to blur the pic (as you can see).
6. Get a decent camera, and take pics of your car during the day if you want us to actually see what it looks like...
lol...

It was a pretty impromptu thing, I had my camera in my car which I usually never do and I was driving by the empty parking lot so I thought, "why not?" Most didn't come out as well as I would have liked but it's a crappy 12 mp handheld digital camera so there wasn't much room to work with besides fiddling with some of the night settings.
Edit: added what I thought were some of the better pictures instead of the dark ones where you couldn't really see the car.

Thank you for the advice. Like I said I'm not good with the camera so I will keep all that in mind. I'm definitely looking to improve and take some better shots in the future as I have zero photography experience but I do have a good time taking pictures.

Fiddling with the night settings etc won't help - those are really more for setting the flash speed/intensity for taking a picture of a person at night or something.
Best bet is just to stick to day shots
Tripod at Best buy for $25 turn your pics into...

I'm no pro nor do I claim to be, but I like doing night shots with a tripod and messing with exposure times.
Car does look good from what I see, and I think Ice white lighting color is better with a tan interior IMO.

Thanks.
I finished blacking out the window trim today so I'll probably get a picture of that up tomorrow. I'll go with a daytime shot this time so hopefully it'll turn out better
If you really think that I did such a poor job to the point that you see it as a failure, could you at least provide some insight as to what you think I could do better for next time? I'm very open to constructive criticism and think it's great when people provide helpful suggestions (i.e. Drunkie's recommendation to use a tripod), but just saying "fail" doesn't help much.
