OP, the Linea Corsa's are a very quality 2 piece wheel and are a nice pick up for that price. I am not a big fan of that particular model but it isn't my car. You got a great deal on them becauuse of the offsets.

The black Max w/ the chrome looks nice but if you are goping to draw that much attention to the wheels with all that chrome you may want to take up some of the wheel gap by lowering it a little more.

Again, these are opinions because they were asked for.

If you're a speed kind of guy then those rims are all wrong. They're heavy which isn't going to do anything for you in the performance category. They don't look horrible, but they're not my taste.

I disagree.
Here's my old car with 18s and a Carbon Fiber lip kit

Here is it with another set of wheels

The car is dropped on S-Techs in both pictures. Coilovers will still go lower

Wrong. 18's are fine. You just have to get a set of 18's that have a good design, the right set of tires to go with it and aren't too heavy.

Those 350z track wheels are perfect. 18 pounds each and in my opinion they're hands down the best looking set of rims you can put on a Maxima.

If you want to talk about too big, look around a little on here for the handful of 4th gens (or any Maxima before the 6th gen for that matter) that are sitting on 20's. Absolutely awful.

And I had a vision!

Spacers + Coil-Overs

I know the second picture has the rear tire out a lot more then the first. Just wanted to see how it would look with that hellaflush look going. I think with some negative camber and even more of a slam.. it would look interesting. Might try to photoshop that.. just a sec..

EDIT:

Close enough.

These chops do not reflect my opinion in any way. Just showing you what COULD be possible with some more work. I'm personally not a fan of this style, but it's not my car.

I have to respectfully disagree with you on that. 4th gens and 5th gens alike can pull off 20s. And 6th gens can swallow 22s like nothing. Its just that most people that do the larger wheels on our car know nothing about stance. People tend to think that just getting bigger wheels will "close the fender gap". Stance is everything.

^20"x10: all around^

^21"x9" Front 21"x10.5" rear^
Bumper fitment is a little off, and the sideskirts arent my cup of tea. But the stance is what i'm trying to get at.

There was also a 4th gen slammed on 22s that looks awsome.

how did you do that, that looks SWEET! and there staggerd thats why the rear fitment is a little out but your the only one besides me that noticed.

I have to agree with you. You caught me making a statement that was too general. The problem is that the vast majority of these guys running 20's and etc on their cars are ignoring stance and just throwing 20's on their car for the sake of having 20's. This is a good example of a 4th gen with 20's that looks awful:

With proper stance and the right choice of wheel, larger rims can look great on these cars. Your pictures really drove this point home.

Yup, you've got it. This is the reason why for most guys with maximas, 18s with a decent set of lowering springs is the best bet. You cant go wrong with that and it still looks awsome most of the time.
