let me know what you think!

ok so im posting this thread because ive had this car for almost 6 months now and when i got it i took it over from my girlfriend, who had been hitting things with it and just mistreating it. it had a broken grille...headlight was falling out....bumper was destroyed, pretty much it was a disaster sitting on 00 16's with gle red tails....so here it is today and im just looking to see what people think about it. positive or negative all is welcome. but mostly what im looking for is suggestions on what to do to it to really make it STAND out.... it has recently been hit so it will be getting a CF hood and a stillen classic front lip....other than that its just like the photos...so let me know what you guys think...
thanks

GOOD LORD that is low. I like the Muranos. I'm not sure if I like the grille or not. What are the specs on those tires? I feel like I've said this a lot lately, but I think it would look better if you blacked out the window trim. Well actually I'm not sure, it would be interesting to see a Photoshop job of it on the third picture.

Overall, I like it. Simple, tasteful, very clean.

which coilovers are you on? i really like the drop! i'm not a big fan of those rims but in some pics they look decent.. IMO - new rims, different grille (i prefer OEM), and i don't like wind deflector

but overall the car looks good

Looks good but those tires are way too thin. 40 sidewall is gonna look much better. Drop is nice though and I even like the grille.

I see el Maccarone!!

It looks good man. Do you have any pics from the rear? And what did you use to black out/smoke the side markers?

^what he said..i love it as is, grille and all. making it stand out...is a personal taste. you can do something that you love that could get mass hate or love, but at the end of the day it could/would stand out.

It's legit, looks like the tires are too low profile, IMO. But it looks good.

Nice. I had to scroll up to check if it had a lip on it or not. lol

with the 40 sidewall, the fenders will be filled in more nicely. If only those muranos were a little more concave...

This is a great look for your car. Your drop coupled with the stock wheels and tires with decent sidewall look a lot better than the Muranos in my opinion. I imagine it's probably an old picture, but that looks really, really good.

the ride with the D2's is okay...the front struts need to be replaced they were on the way out when i bought them....i replaced the pillowball mounts a few months ago...but even with the crappy struts it still rides good considering im slammed with 35 wall tires in a city FILLED with pot holes and bumps....with the new strut cores and some 40 wall tires i imagine it will be a whole new world.....

looks pretty good - other than the ridiculous tire size. Last I checked, going to a 215 width from a stock 225 is an...um....downgrade in performance/grip and looks pretty lame as well. The whole point of getting wider wheels is to fit wider tires. Go get some 235/40/18 or 245/35/18. Super-skinny tires with super-small sidewalls is about the dumbest trend in cars these days.

Compared to stock, your overall tire diameter is two inches smaller....so your speedo is off 8.1% (so 5mph off at 60mph) And basically your engine is revving 8% higher at any speed, losing fuel economy. Plus you're about a billion times more likely to damage your rim on a pothole with no sidewall. I don't see the point. Doesn't look good, doesn't perform well...pointless. And not like you have an aggressive offset and need skinny tires to clear the fender. I ran 30 offset with 245s on my 18s...

i think it looks better with out those suv wheels, the grille also needs to go (which has been mentioned). but i personally like how the sunroof visor flows with the rear window visor. i think when you mentioned it looks weird without it and out of place with it is because of the rear spoiler and rear window visor clashing with it. i say, if you use your sunroof keep it...

on that size wheel (18x8, correct?) go with 235/40/18. It's the best look, best handling, and closest diameter to stock.

And sell those skinnies to a V-dub fanboi
