I'm back with a whole new bucket of bolts.

Bought it yesterday for $950.00. Road ready. New clutch, tires, brakes, etc......Been well taken care of mechanically. No transmission output shaft bearing noise, so that's good. Has some body damage on the passengers side hood and fender from him running it under a truck bumper. For the price, I don't really care. Really hated parting with my last 96 5-speed, but the body and cancer was too much to save her. So, I will not be making any part out threads for this one. Hopefully. :P

Oh, and while I am at it, here is my 96 Tacoma, and 95 Ram Cummins.

Oh, and here is my project SS.

Thanks for all the compliments guys Yep, it's a 88 shiro with 120k on it. Doing a complete overhaul on it. Going to be a big undertaking.

Got a good score at the junkyard today. Got a full set of black leather seats for $185.00. They came out of a totaled 96 GXE. They were pulled out of the car in 2000, and have been sitting in there warehouse since. So they only have 4 years of use, and 10 years or warehouse time. lol They are dirty, but I cleaned up the drivers side with a wet cloth real quick and seems like they will turn out decent. Going to start ripping the black interior out of the parts car and get this conversion underway.

After Leather cleaner.

There are a few pressed down places in the seats as seen on the driver side bolster. Apparently stuff laying on them for extended periods of time cause that. Hopefully they will come back, or if anyone knows how to get the dent of of the leather, please comment. Thanks!

On a side note, I just bought a 2000 extended cab 4wd Frontier for $2000.00. Need to put a tranny in it, but the truck is near mint.

Update Bump...

Got the interior mostly done yesterday. Pulled the interior out of the parts car, pulled mine out, and then put parts cars interior in. Made for a really long day, but the results are sexy.....

And then my Greddy SP Exhaust. Like it really matters. lol

Got the Cattman Y-pipe, and catback on last week. More to come.

Ain't much to look at right now. It is a very slow moving project, needs a good bit of work, anyway, here are a few extra pics....

And now it looks like this...

Things are coming together quite nice.

Coilovers, 350Z wheels, Stillen Lip, Front Bumper, Fenders, are all in route.

97+ rear end conversion FTW!!! Found a nice lid, spoiler, and taillights at the yard yesterday. Will be left black until car is painted.

Thanks guys.

I made the mistake of going to Crutchfield today. lol

Bought a Kenwood DVD reciever, it's not a nav unit, would have been nice, but I have it on my phone, and have a separate GPS as well, figured I didn't need to spend the extra coin. Got it installed this afternoon, along with my glow gauges. haha

Thanks man, yea, I have a weak spot in my stomach for some nice black leather. I just got lucky to find a set of junkyard seats that were stored for 10 years. haha

The more I do to this car, the more I want to do to it. Guess that's the way it goes.

It's really amazing how quickly and nicely this car is coming along. I wish I had the money to mod my car this fast. Screw being a broke college student

What Kenwood receiver is that? I'm looking to get an in-dash screen for Christmas but I'm not sure what I'd like to go with. That one looks really nice.

The receiver is the Kenwood DDX 514. It's last years model. Crutchfield had it on there clearance rack for $399.00, got it down to $349.00. I wished I could have gotten the latest unit, but I couldn't see paying an additional $250.00 for a model with a newer firmware and more pixels. haha

I love this one though, the quality of the DVD's is great, the screen isn't bad either, it's just the newer unit is a little better pixel wise in the main menu and crap.

And I love the fact that I can cram my 32gb Itouch in the little flip down door area. I just ran my wires up through the back of it and boom, USB access and all tucked away!

I also found the Kenwood Navigation system for an additional $200.00 on e-bay. Cruchfield wants $600.00 for it.

Thanks man! Yea, I started on removing the interior out of the parts car around 8 that saturday morning, and had my tan one out and the black one in by 6 that evening. I took a one hour lunch break that was much needed. And then I slept good that night.

I am planning on paint this spring. Pondering on doing a 3.5 swap in-between now and then, but not for sure yet. I have my eye on a few motors for a good price.

Love to see someone put in this kind of work...looking good. Wouldn't call the stance epic, but it really does look good and it has come a Looooong way!
