Out with the new, in with the old?? my new 96
most of you know me. had a 04 max se. aug maxima of the month. it was well known. heres some pics of it...
i miss it so much....
k well i had numerous problems, couldnt keep it modified without going thru axles every couple of months, 5spd auto was a pain was on my 3rd one... so i sold every mod and i now drive it daily stock.
in the mean time i picked up a 96 gxe from brooklyn, new york. far drive from RI but its whatever. has 94k origional miles. car is mint. not a dime of rust. absolutely flawless... interior is legit like new. guy had auto seats installed ttoo.
so here starts a new project and i was blessed of the condition of the car which saves more work.
bought it 10/10/10 and so far had this done to it...
stillen front
ionic sides and rear
r34 headlights
5050 tails
15% tints including windshield
kyb agx's
h&r springs
stillen fstb
optima yellow
all type r speakers
type r 10 in stealth box
alipine head unit
clear/smoked corners
sure im missing some stuff??

man i loved your 6th gen, but the 4th is nice too, that thing is mint. thats a ton of mods for in only three months. i wish i had the money for that shiz. waiting to see the finished product.

yeah cant wait. agx's/hr's ride nice but i want to go lower.

left out a couple of things... also sitting in my basement....

leather inserts for the panels
black window trim to replace the chrome
too damn cold out there.

J/K......... looks good cant wait to see it in the spring time and i like your taste in car mods! you know how to make a car look good!.....ill be parking next to you at cure for kids!!!! lol
oh and keep the wheels black with the red stripe they look good! maybe a different tire though...

Cant believe you peeled the Rays decals off and didn't even tell me.. looked better on my car anyways lol
Honestly, paint the wheels gunmetal, its going to be too black of a theme. The wheels wont contrast and show as much if you leave it black, on a black car with black tint.

I liked that 6th gen, but I understand you about the axles thing....I just had to change my drivers side, it sucks going through them every few months and hearing that grinding sound. The 4th gen looks as nice as well though, it'll be nice when you're done with it by judging from the 6th gen you have good taste in modding. I would however take the red pinstripe off.

I agree with getting rid of the red pinstripe. I was thinking about doing that with my 300zx wheels so i did a test wheel and didnt like it. I think all black would look nice or possibly even gunmetal.
